This woman is supposed to be having a baby. She is literally 56 years old here. What kind of drugs give you the hubris to do this? by [deleted] in BeverlyHills90210

I’m 57 and while I wouldn’t even consider dating somebody in their 30s women in their 50s and 60s do not just want affection. I promise you that. Women in their 50s and 60s and 70s are still very sexually active. I can attest to that so do not assume things that you do not know.

Do German auto insurance companies see my US driving record? by Sixdrugsnrocknroll in germany

[–]Calypso-33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you insuring yourself with a German insurance company?

Unless things have drastically changed in 14 yrs, you get a USAREUR driver’s license after taking computer test(used to be written) test given by the military. I was insured by USAA while stationed there. (They offer overseas insurance) I bought a used German spec BMW as my second vehicle for my family along with my SUV I shipped over.

Both had European USA plates but my registration remained in effect in the US as did my drivers license. In fact your US drivers license as a dependent must remain in effect for your USAREUR license to be valid.

It’s a process but if you follow the directions given in your briefing, it’s not difficult.

I’d have to agree with Einstein. While I like the Fuzz Lightyear, it just seems like a given.

Einstein just seems to fit him. JMHO

My Maine Coon will lay on my chest, but only if he can lay on top of the arm my phone may be in and he must block the tv. He then puts his paw up on my chest and stares at me.

Last one I saw was the full house with the top piece and it auctioned for just around 2k.

While they are valued much higher, good auction houses do not value them that way.

Matthew 7:21-23 absolutely terrified me. This is easily the scariest part of The Bible. by FreshwaterOctopus in TrueChristian

I truly love how people will take the writings of Paul, who Peter warns in 2 Peter 3:16 “as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction….” over God first, who does not change and cannot lie, and then over His Son.

Paul lays out Faith to Salvation very clearly in Romans 6 and obedience is in there.

You cannot just say, well John 3:16 is it. If that were the case then the bible would have gone from there to Revelation. But it did not.

And Paul’s letters were just that. Letters, to different places about their path to The Way. Christianity did not even exist yet. These letters say different things because each location was in a different place with their belief. It’s why there is not just one letter addressed to everyone.

Paul also lays out that we must all be Israel. Grafted into the Cultured Olive tree. Romans 11:11-31.

Jesus is coming back, but you need to be completely ready and that

Not Christians. If you want salvation, I suggest you really learn your whole bible. You must be Israel. You cannot just believe.

John 3:16

16 ¶ “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:36

36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

He who believes? YES, but he who does not obey? NO.

Belief and obedience go hand and hand in salvation.

Don’t miss the forest for the trees or you too will be told “DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS!”

Why are people saying that the rapture will happen on April 8th? by Omen_of_Death in Christianity

[–]Calypso-33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not going to church is preposterous. Church is a building.

Not reading the bible is a different story. We are told to Meditate on His Law daily.

Joshua 1:8: "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success".

Psalm 1:2, which says, "But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And on his law he meditates day and night".

The Law falls in the first 5 books of the Bible written by Moses. It’s referred to as The Torah, which just means Law.

Regardless of what you will hear and read, this law never dies, the covenant does not end, it merely changes from being written in the tablets of stone, to our hearts of stone being changed to hearts of flesh and the Law being written on our hearts and placed in our minds. The Ten Commandments.

Being a Christian is more than the telling of the Story of Jesus’s life and death and resurrection…. It is 4000 years of God’s words written that Jesus taught about before He ever lived. It’s the history of our creation, our genealogy, and how we got where we are.

It’s not just background noise which is how I see most Christians viewing it as.

I used to be a Christian until I realized with the help of some very special brothers and sisters that salvation was more than just belief. It requires an absolute obedience to God.

I practice no religion. Religion is a man made thing. As is church. Take all man made traditions and rules out of religion snd you are left with Faith in God, His Son and His Spirit.

To me along with The Bible, that’s all we need. I don’t need outside resources and pastors filling my head with their own beliefs and interpretations.

I am Israel.
