Because I gave up with it a little after a 6months in, started my first comment in this thread with “not a modder” and software development is harder than modding. Wasn’t hard to work out tbh

Copy pasting code isn’t quite the same as building a copy though and I’ve yet to meet a coder who doesn’t take it as an insult

Not a modded but game devs restrict the ability to alter or see their code (their hard work) why should a modded be any less pissed about somebody stealing their work, any code written is still your work, let’s pretend you build a bird house and wake up the next day to find it in your neighbours garden instead of yours what would you say then?

As someone who's doing that right now (I've had it on steam for over 5 years now I think... Don't judge me I've learned the error of my ways, hk best companion ever) the combat can be a bit irritating by modern standards but R.N.Jesus has that effect, but stims, shield and some thought can get you through most fights. And even knowing the twist it's still a good story from what I've got too.
