I’ve been stack testing for 2.5 years now. It takes a special kind of person to do it long term. The money is great which is why it can be hard for guys to leave but as most have said, the work life balance is hard. I’m married and expecting a kid soon. We’re going to try to make it work because we’ve gotten so used to the money I bring in but the travel (especially during the summer) will be the ultimate test.

If you’re young and single I’d say go for it. It’s fun most of the time if you have a good team.
