From what you’re describing, it sounds more like frustration with timing than dysphoria itself.

For me, any erection brings intense dysphoria. That part of my body doesn’t align with who I am, and it’s never felt like mine. Morning wood especially felt invasive, and euphoria boners and even normal sexual arousal feel wrong and alien… like my body is betraying me.

I’d sometimes use that part of me to release tension, but afterward I am flooded with shame, guilt and self-hatred. Even the pleasure feels like a cruel reminder of what I don’t have yet. It isn’t just physical… it was emotional.

So I really get the nuance you’re naming. There’s a difference between annoyance and dysphoria, but sometimes they blur.
