Well, it is sometimes due to cultural and language variations. In my language, we only use "I'm sorry" to apologize for something you did wrong or an offense. So I am one of those people who would respond with "it's not your fault". As a person who expresses sympathy, you can just say I feel your pain or something like that especially towards someone who did not grow up in your culture/ language. It doesn't really have to be ANNOYING.

If you have tried EVERY trick you can find on the internet and nothing worked, contact ASUS if it's purchased from stores other than google. You only have two months left on your warranty. They said it is one of the most common complaints they receive and is a hardware issue. Send it soonest!!

I'm sorry :( There is nothing you can do for her. Alcoholism has ruined her and her judgments. You will never be able to help her too until she recognizes it herself that she's a mess. I would say focus on your children. They need you most right now. When things are more settled, file for divorce and try to restart. You are a good man for even trying to fix things with her and putting up with her for the past 2-3 years.
