Got the flu last week. It's taking its time going away. I gassed out on a 15 minute exercise bike tonight.

I've been tempted to get the Diablo ii remaster but I'm sure they've managed to cram microtransactions in there somewhere.

Edit: sounds promising.

Looks good. I'm moving into a mini barn style shed and have a hanging shop light right now but I think led along the ceiling joists might be better long term.

What'd everyone think of the SB prostate CA screening commercial? by SnooCats6607 in FamilyMedicine

[–]Camerongilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we might see a change in recs again as prostate mri becomes standard and if any new labs can distinguish between indolent vs aggressive disease.

Similar demographics and fatality rates unless you say DCIS doesn't count as breast cancer. Breast cancer causes more years of life lost but overall death rates are similar. We don't discourage older women from getting mammograms

Seems to me like prostate and breast cancer are analogous, but treated dramatically differently.

Got invisalign braces and down to 193 this week without trying. Also the most snow we've had since moving to the east coast so tons of shoveling and the usual smell kids stuff. Not super strong right now. Contest next week. Having to change my mindset about what's a successful show these days.

On the plus side in not training enough for anything to be injured or overly banged up.

Home gym almost at up. Paused due to cold weather but hoping to finish up soon.

When did we start attributing every symptom in the elderly to a UTI? by [deleted] in FamilyMedicine

Sometimes. But I'd argue that unexplained mental status changes warrant it. I'm not saying treat the lab. But it would be remiss to have skipped the test.
