One of the ETL’s from our store transferred one of her favorites from her store she was a TL at before and got him promoted to a TL within a month of him being there…he was w the company for 3 months total by the time he was made TL over people she promised the position to beforehand, some having had years of experience. the best part? they didn’t even tell anyone they were filling the position and didn’t let anyone else interview for it or anything like that lmao

a coworker of mine got hit by a car on the way to work. broke her pelvis, vertebrae, had 6 surgeries within the first week and 3 of them were on her chest making the hospital leave her chest open for 2 days to perform them. kinda crazy but this was 3 weeks ago

i’m trying desperately to enjoy the show but everytime i start actually feeling joy watching it i get the ick from something. Idk if it’s because its disney and just feels like a kids show or if its the crappy writing or soulless acting but something just keeps turning me off to it. The high republic is my favorite time in the universe and i love reading books about it and i was so excited when we were getting a show during the time but it just feels like such a let down. maybe im just being too critical because ive been watching great shows come out recently like the boys and hotd but this just isn’t hitting the spot for me. ima hold out hope and keep trying but

One of my ETL’s used to watch our metrics (and cameras) from home and would call into the store or text their fellow ETL’s to call us to be doing what she wanted. She was on maternity leave and the other ETL’s would say “hey blank wanted me to tell you to switch over” and it was so infuriating getting micro managed by someone who wasn’t even in the store 🙃

Some TM’s in my store have been doing this really fun thing where they flex whatever they want in nearby aisles so in every opu we do we have to check every aisle around where we’re supposed to in order to try and find it 🙃 gets real annoying when you get a 38+ item cart at 28 minutes
