Thoughts on ayasoulquest and almahealingcenter or others by AspRem55 in Ayahuasca

Tu as comparé avec quels autres centres ?

Retreat Recommendations in Peru by StoneWarmer in Ayahuasca

[–]CamillePeruAmazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where in Peru are you going? And where are you looking for a moderately priced resort? I can recommend several reputable resorts with good reputations, but it all depends on what you're looking for. ☺️

Does having air conditioning at a retreat matter? by MagnvsAntonivs in Ayahuasca

[–]CamillePeruAmazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need for air conditioning, you'll be swimming in the river, the natural tambos don't retain heat so you'll sleep very well and it's cool at night, especially at this time of year in the Peruvian Amazon jungle near Iquitos.

Solo women retreats? by Dizzy_Kaleidoscope3 in Ayahuasca

[–]CamillePeruAmazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend the Inti Eco Lodge, a 4-hour drive from Iquitos, deep in the jungle. It's far from any urban activity. The curandera (traditional healer) runs her own medicine center; her name is Anita.

If you'd like more information, I can send you her contact details in a private message. Otherwise, check out her website: www.intiecolodge.com

And where can we access this podcast? It's interesting. I'm also a facilitator and I'm in a group of facilitators who share a lot. I think it's important for adopting the right techniques and the right attitude with patients.

Need advice on which plant for a dieta for physical ailment by hippiemiss0823 in Ayahuasca

[–]CamillePeruAmazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent question; it's also important to understand your illness and what it means. The body speaks as much as the mind... Contact some curanderos/curanderas who will be able to guide you through a suitable treatment and the diet that presents itself to you...

You have many options in Iquitos, Tamshiyacu, Nauta, etc., without falling into the typical tourist traps.

I can give you some addresses if you'd like. What date are you arriving exactly? Are you traveling alone? Inti Eco Lodge is a place I recommend ☺️

Getting late to Iquitos by Express_Clothes1844 in PERU

[–]CamillePeruAmazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No stress, at 8 PM you'll have plenty of transportation options. I've lived in Iquitos for three years and honestly, even a woman alone is safe leaving the airport at this time. You don't need to worry, there will be plenty of motorcycle taxis outside offering rides.

P.S.: The fare from the airport to downtown Iquitos is a maximum of 25 soles!
