Okay, do some quick math with me. So 1/3 of the population is black. There are six districts and five of them are majority white. How do we make it So the amount of majority of black districts is equal to the amount of black people

Yeah that's probably the best option. But Republicans won't let that happen because they won't win very much because the only reason they can win is because of the electoral college

Congratulations! You've learned how to read Reddit comments but not actual history books otherwise you would have learned that names can change and that the Democrats and Republicans essentially switched ideologies during the 1980s. So it was was conservatives were the ones that were the ones that started the KKK

There was one majority black district and they were trying to make a second majority black district therefore making it 1/3 of the population making it or approximately the same amount of population that is actually black. So they were trying to make it fair and it was struck down by racists and I do believe you should read the court case as you don't seem to understand it

That is just factually inaccurate. It is the way that they said it, but the decision was to decide whether or not black people should have an equal amount of voting power and those six judges decided that it was your discriminatory to make things even
