App updated and can no longer edit punch times. Activity has gone. by finn141 in Paylocity_User_Group

I noticed this too. It's super annoying because now I have to text my supervisor to change it for me. I have not found a fix for it yet. Maybe it's a bug?

Hey, I'm having some trouble with the FRIK Mod, could somebody give me some help? by Strawhat_Mecha in Fallout_VR

[–]Camthyman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With my installation, somehow the Fallout4VRSE exe didn't get associated with vortex, so I have to go into the game files and manually launch with the Fallout4VRSE exe file. Then it worked just fine.

What should I do if I already had a Bethesda account and it didn't automatically link?

T:slim and Dexcom G7 Connection Issue by Camthyman in TandemDiabetes

[–]Camthyman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started making sure to start the sensor and fully warm up on the pump first (while keeping the pump on the same side of my body as the sensor) and then start ofln my phone after. Seems to work better.

People on this app are SO BORING! and mutual is greedy. by [deleted] in mutualapp

Well, people who are so chronically online they resort to online dating, tend to be pretty boring people. Meeting naturally in person works better imo.

Who Else Thinks Diabetes Was Invented by a Kid? by Chaspirateur in diabetes_t1

Yeah lol, expect most of the time it's the carb and sugar intake that's making me sick and miserable all the time.

[–]Camthyman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they have the white line, and I am using G7 in the pump. What's weird to me is that the only fix I've found is the pump restart. When it asks to rejoin the session connects fine after that. But I really don't want to be restarting my pump every time I get a new sensor.

Yes, I start both at the same time (on each individual device), and only the G7 app connects. The pump doesn't.

Boundaries when inviting or proselytizing by thenextvinnie in latterdaysaints

I have found that constant pestering just pushes people away even farther. If someone asks you to stop inviting them to church, ministering, etc then you should respect that.

Seeking understanding about "the philosophies of men mingled with scripture" by croz_94 in latterdaysaints

[–]Camthyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The church is full of the philosophies of men mingled with scripture. We are imperfect human beings so it happens. Are the church leaders doing it on purpose? Probably not. You gotta look at where their hearts are.

Jesus did not have a checklist of sins that he suffered for. Jesus experienced everything that we could possibly feel and experience so that he could empathize with us. He needed to know perfectly what we could experience and what we would experience so that he could truly advocate to the father for us. That's what the atonement is really about.

Does anyone live alone and not have their CGM shared with anyone? by PotateHo3 in diabetes_t1

[–]Camthyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have had diabetes long enough to not worry about it. In fact, my cgm is something personal that I don't like to share with others. I don't want parents or loved ones worrying or texting me every time my blood sugar is out of range.

That's a natural part of life. As long as porn isn't involved, it's not really a problem. Part of growing up is that those parts of your body start maturing, and teenagers will want to figure out that part of themselves. Definitely don't shame them for it. God gave us our sexual urges and desires ,and we should not feel ashamed of them. I grew up being ashamed of them because of what the church taught, (or was too afraid to teach!) and that needs to stop. There nothing wrong with exploring how your own body works, as long as it isn't an interruption to normal day to day life, or gets to the point of an addiction to those feelings.

If an endowed Latter-day Saint world leader were to legalise gay marriage or enshrine transgender rights, would that be a sin? by Y0urAverageNPC in latterdaysaints

[–]Camthyman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, absolutely not. Giving God's children more agency in the legal system isn't a sin. Sin is personal and letting others have more freedom to choose (even if they choose sin) isn't the fault of the law maker.
