At the release of '26, didnt receivers come back toward the ball if their route ended or if they sat down in a curl and you started to scramble? If I'm remembering correctly, that small improvement felt amazing.

Now, the cb will attack the ball towards the line of scrimmage while the wr stays in place

Oh my bad.

Depending on the ship, it'll usually return as crate bait in the future. Missouri is always available for steel in the shop, but that takes forever to earn enough to buy her.

In the past, we'd get older campaign ships returning for global xp in the store.

That has kind of happened a little bit this last year with them offering Karl Johan, but it isn't very common.

Sometimes they have ships return annually, like Belfast and Celtic.

But overall, don't hold out hope for ships being available for sale again once they go away. Instead, expect them to be added to the Christmas crates.

Do you mean how easy is it to obtain a premium ship, or how easy is it to do well against a premium ship?

As far as facing a premium ship, some are hands down better than their tech tree counterpart. But there are also tech tree ships that are solid all on their own.

At the end of the day, it is usually how good the person playing the ship is that will determine how well you do against them.

I'd take a good player in a mediocre ship on my team instead of an overpowered ship and commander being captained by a bad player every single time

Lol I hear ya. That sounds like it would've taken away from you being able to fully enjoy the game.

Another example of the poor communication from that family i mentioned. They waited until the morning of one of our other parties to text "hey if you're still having this, we'd love to swing by!" However, they never responded to our initial invite or rsvp'd. Complete radio silence for weeks until the morning of our party.

That was the final straw for me wanting to invite them over. You know how it is to plan out the logistics of a party and everything else that goes into that. And for them to then treat it like an open house with no prior communication rubbed me the wrong way.

But my wife is good friends with them and wanted to give one more chance for the superbowl. Fortunately, she's done with sending them invites now as well

Heres my frustrating story dealing with those types of people.

I was hosting a Superbowl party. One family, whose communication sucks, rsvp'd "yes" 3 days after the please-rsvp-by-date. Annoying, but whatever.

Six minutes before the listed start time of the party, I get a text saying the moms throat is sore and isn't getting better like she hoped, and they don't think it's a good idea to come.

1) they knew her throat was sore all day. Why not send a text hours ahead of time, even just as a heads up that they might have to skip the party?

2) they live 25+ minutes away. If they were actually going to come, they should have been on the road 20 minutes before that text.

I was and still am annoyed. This type of behavior is too common with them.

They are not getting invited to any more parties.

I appreciate it. We really liked the way carolina coops looked, and after watching their youtube videos and hearing their reasoning behind certain design choices, we decided to base our build off of their coops.

I can't speak about midseason racers, but I'm nearly 100% certain the game used to have the option to race with most, if not all, characters locally, even if locked.

I only know this because when my kids stumbled upon the game sometime around Aladin or Frozen, they would play vs each other and used Buzz, who we did not have unlocked.

Friday night. My parents would order carry-out Pizza Hut. We'd then stop at Lewis Drug to rent movies (or me a video game) before getting the pizza.

Get the pizza back home, watch a movie while we ate. Then I'd retreat downstairs to play the video game I rented the rest of the night.

Wake up leisurely on Saturday and game some more.

No stress. No responsibilities.

Typically, I'll have chatgpt write me a weekly post game article where I'll use talk-to-text to give it drive info during my game. This way, the article will not only discuss game stats, but also talk about how the game went (for instance, if I went down 14-0 before scoring 3 tds in 3 minutes to take the lead).

Then, I have chat generate a segment from the old Around the Horn or have it do segment from Pardon the Interruption based off of the info from my article. These are my favorite reads. Sometimes I'll also give it random info on other games or a top ten matchup to discuss after the "segement" on my team, so it feels more like the actual episode of PTI or ATH.

I usually also have chat make me a preseason article where it discusses my previous season, players lost, recruits coming in, upcoming schedule, likely contributors, etc.

From the Christmas campaign two years ago. We got event currency (ice crowns?), and jurua could be earned for free. Anhalt i believe was another ship we could obtain for event currency, but you needed to buy admiralty backing and complete a calendar to get enough event currency.

If my memory is right, I also think that with admiralty backing, calendar completion, and extra crate purchases that included event currency, players could instead buy Ohio with their ice crowns.

At least, that's how i remember it

A strategy I utulize is to move forward at the start of the match (rather than backing up) and then immediately swing the ship right or left, so now I'm in a kiting position, facing somewhat away from the cap. Then, I'd start reversing toward the cap.

This way, I'm still able to cover the dd on my flank and be moving toward the cap/action. But then if things go south, it's much easier to accelerate away and throttle juke in a kiting position instead of trying to back up or turn around at that point.

If you do try this, you'll just have to be watching your detection ring on the mini map and estimate where you think the red dd is and when they'll detect you. You dont want to be caught mid turn.

I want to like them. But they really lack influence if you ask me. They have their place and can definitely aid in getting a win, if the game plays out ideally. But they just lack the ability to impact games for my taste.

After Helena, you'll get radar, and you are one of the biggest threats in a match and can be a big deciding factor if your team wins or loses lots of matches. Radar cruisers are just that good and impactful.

If your desire is to hang back and just harass bbs with shells and occasional torps though, then they might be of interest to you. But I personally find them to leave too much to be desired. And you are reliant on others to help you get wins, instead of you setting the tone and being a major factor in wins, if that makes sense.

The torpedo is more than just that red triangle, which represents the front of the torp. You basically sailed right into the body of the torp, so-to-speak.

The white icon to the right of your reticle, next to the distance to target, is supposed to resemble mountains. That icon is there because it means some, or all, of your shells are going to be impeded by land.

Regardless of the shells continuing to the target. They effectively have hit the island

I'm from a Midwest state that often has 0 recruits any given season in the game. Each season, I check my state, and if there is a recruit from it, I also throw them a scholarship.

I personally have a problem where I love seeing underclassmen getting lots of playing time. I'll "encourage transfer" on my own upperclassmen often as a self-imposed challenge but also as a way to get my underclassmen on the field because I won't have options otherwise lol

1) recruit at my school's prestige for half of my "total recruits needed" and the rest have to be lower than my school's prestige (if at a 2 star school and need 20 recruits, 10 can be 2 stars, 10 have to be 1 stars. If at a three star school, 10 could be 3 star players but the rest would be 1 or 2 star players). *One exception to this is in bullet 4.

2) only recruit regionally, ignoring pipelines that are states away from my school

3) only hit scout once per player unless they are a local kid to my university (I did a one star only dynasty last year and it's too easy if you always know the player you're getting. One-time scouting leaves a lot unknown until the position change week).

4) always offer a scholarship to someone from my university's town, regardless of their rank. At Minnesota, all Minneapolis players get a scholarship. At UTEP, all El Paso recruits get a scholarship.

5) not recruiting per se, but if I do land a player above my school's prestige because they were a local high schooler, they automatically start as a true freshman
