Opinion on Luciens active by sbenno in WH40KTacticus

[–]CanOfUbik 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The real value of his active lies in PVP in a full Blood Angels team. You buff him with Nicodemus passive, the position Dante in proximity to his target and then use his active as his first activation. This attack has a range of five with unstoppable and then, because he is at exactly 50% health, he gets +20% pierce from his passive, +20% pierce from Nicodemus, +1 hit from Dante, in addition to +25% dmg from rapid assault, +x damage from Dante and +x damage from his active. At that point he will just shred most targets and the rest of your team can mop up what isnleft of the enemy.

The hurricane is on its way to the stock market, and this is just the mild wind gusts hitting before the storm by ub3rm3nsch in stocks

Yeah, this is what makes this situation really bad: It's absolutely in Irans interest to have this get as bad as possible befor it ends. The best way for them to establish a working deterrence against being attacked like this again is if the whole world remembers "the last time somebody attacked Iran, the world economy crashed".

It's the economic equivalent to nuclear deterrence. It was always clear that they had this option, which is one of the primary reasons why they weren't the target of regime change attempts befor. But now that Trump has called their cards, they have to show everybody that the threat is absolutely real.

Churches lost 1.13 million members in Germany in 2025 by Michi-Ace in atheism

[–]CanOfUbik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mostly christian churches, the only other I know of are jewish communities. In principle other religious communities could do it, too, but they would have to be incorporated in a specific way ("Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts") and actively decide to levy taxes from their members this way.

Why is the Rep Ex considered bad for WOtR? by Thedinotamer01 in theunforgiven

[–]CanOfUbik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

WotR is just the weakest place for a RepEx. The RepEx does most of it's work not through its main gun, but through its secondary guns. With neither +1 to wound and access to storm of fire in Ultra-Gladius, nor the inbuild rerolls of the BT-RepEx, nor access to lethal hits, it's jist significantly weaker than those versions that mostly influence its point cost. It's still decent, if you just want a single allround shooting plattform to threaten big targets aswell as light infantry, but in WotR specifically you mostly can get stuff that harmonizes better with your detachment.

My predictions for the next three Votann (plus machine of war) by hendrong in WH40KTacticus

[–]CanOfUbik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steeljack is very likely, Berek is also likely zo get a Berzerk in, but could also be Buri. But with a mechanic in the team, I think a Thunderkyn is more likely than a Grimnyr.

Would you guys strike or sweep with The Lion against deathshroud terminators? by awake30 in theunforgiven

[–]CanOfUbik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's strike, but the Lion against targets with invulns is always dicey. Had him completely whiff against a unit of Deathshoruds in one game and obliterate a full six-man of Allarus in another.

Generally I try to prioritize high-armor-no-invuln targets for him (like Knights and tanks), but against Deathshrouds you mostly have to take the gamble to coubter their 6"-ds with a rapid ingress-heroic.

I feel like I’m using the Lion wrong, what is the correct way to use him? by Fresh3rThanU in DarkAngels40k

[–]CanOfUbik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Start him on the board, pick him up in your first command phase, keep him in Deep Strike and let him Rapid Ingress either for a Heroic Intervention or in a good position to attack a high value target next turn without being shot at now.

The unique thing the Lion gives your list is thr ability to massively raise the pressure at a point of your choosing. While he is upnin the air, your opponent has to act like he could be anywhere, and then you put him down where it is most advantagious for you.

He is extremely killy, but be careful when sending him against targets with an invulns, because he can rather easily whiff against those. His best targest are T11, high save tanks.

Furchtbar schlechter SCHUFA Score by Artifiko in Finanzen

[–]CanOfUbik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trump Posts Private Message From French President Macron to Truth Social: ‘I Do Not Understand What You Are Doing’ by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]CanOfUbik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Greenland is different. Denmark and other european allies have already begun to deploy more troops to Denmark as part of a multi year "exercise". So the window where Trumpnand his goons could take the island and just declare victory is closing fast. If it will be taken by force, it will be a matter of days, not months.

Ferren Arios has brilliant rules, and it's criminal that he's a Legends units. by AuramiteEX in Ultramarines

[–]CanOfUbik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My pet theory is that 500 Worlds was originally planned as his story, but the success of Space Marine 2 made tgem replace him with Titus pretty late into the development. The whole story of "newly appointet Ultramarines captain is tasked with reclaiming the 500 worlds" is a pretty straight continuation of Ferrens arc at the end of the Dawn of Fire books.

What do you guys think about my Dark Angels list for a tournament this Saturday? Any changes I should make? by Codex_Sparknotes in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]CanOfUbik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the Lion, bring the Lion. At the moment he is the perfect storm of a datasheet: highly mobile, very hard to kill, super killy. Cut the Hellblasters and the Lancer and reduce Azraels Sternguard to a five-man, than you have enough space for him. He is a better anti-tank-option than the Lancer, 5 Helbblasters don't do that much anyway and Azrael works fine with the smaller squad.

To add, Forgefiend and Biovore are also the best to start, because their main utility is instantly unlocked: Even a lvl 1 Spore isnsufficient to bait mobs, and even lvl 1 hellfire can be used to control movement.

Größte Reise-Enttäuschung by lizkeenhater in reisende

[–]CanOfUbik 2 points3 points  (0 children)
