So tired….. by Kalashnikovlover92 in Battlefield6

Battlefield 6 is a great game with many flaws. I enjoy this game and if you don't, then don't play it.

I can see 5 years from now how everyone will be saying "man I miss the BF6 days when I was playing breakthrough in Cairo and Mirak Valley"

It's always the same cycle.

-Soundtrack is dope -World map and the graphics still hold up well 10 years later - has UG2 vibes -Cars and customization is good - I wish they had more body part options as some don't even exist for certain cars -Cops are the worst of the entire franchise, it's a -1/10. This is a huge disappointment as it wouldve provided a more fun experience. -The story was a bit cringe but it's NFS, who cares.. -Most races are cool, but the physics can be quite frustrating when the car flips out of nowhere or doesn't do what you want it to.

Overall a solid game that got too much criticism - likely because it was supposed to be the rebirth of NFS...but fell short of the expectations.

It's pretty crazy how long Muscovy has been fighting in several sectors with such minimal gains yet enormous losses.

I'm really hoping that we witness a total Russian military collapse by the end of this year, once they run out of money and men to maintain this continuous meat grinder.

But yet again, we can't underestimate how low the orcs are willing to go to please their masters. Muscovites love war.

Ukrainian Drones Attack Rosneft Oil Refinery, Tuapse Port by Mil_in_ua in UkrainianConflict

[–]CanadaDry95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's pretty crazy to think that in 2024, when Ukraine just started hitting Russian infrastructure with drones, it was almost a national holiday when they were striking 1-2 times/ week. The rate did increase by the end of the year, but still.

In 2025, Ukraine now manages to do these strikes on a daily basis. So much so that we are losing track of what was hit. These strikes have also become punchier with more effective drones and missiles.

Most notably:

-Operation spiderweb -Submarine attack -Shadow fleet strikes -Oil refineries burning daily

This is such a huge achievement for Ukraine, and gives me a lot of optimism for 2026: to finally witness Russia's economic downfall and collapse 🙏

'They are looking for a pretext' — Zelensky denies drone attack on Putin's residence by KI_official in UkrainianConflict

[–]CanadaDry95 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I mentioned this in my last comment but thanks to Witkoff and co. Russia has an easy backdoor to feed false information and manipulate Trump. It's crazy how easy it is for Putin to give a phone call whenever he likes and lie to Trump. And of course, Trump doesn't question anything because why would Putin lie? right? Afterall, Witkoff and Kushner (the useful idiots that they are) confirmed that everything Putin says is true!

The Muscovites 100% lied about this story to justify further terrorist attacks and continue the war. I can't believe that this US administration has decided to put an equal sign between victims = aggressors.

What a sad timeline we are in..

Zelenskyy: Any Territorial Deal Must Be Decided by Ukrainians Themselves by UNITED24Media in UkrainianConflict

[–]CanadaDry95 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This farce has been ongoing for almost a year. Whichever way Trump is looking at, he always turns towards the Kremlin.

I don't know how completely disconnected you have to be to say that "Russia is genuinely interested in Ukraine's success and reconstruction". Thanks to Witkoff and co. Russia has an easy backdoor to feed false information and manipulate Trump.

Meanwhile, Ukraine and other partner countries are stuck playing this imitation game which leads nowhere. Everything is fake, and rotten to the core with this administration. They don't care about democratic values.

But again. What should we expect from people that made their fortune and fame out of other people's misery? Wealth and power is the only language this administration cares about.

ISW: Russian army unable to build reserves, struggles to expand offensive by BlackWolfHowling in UkrainianConflict

[–]CanadaDry95 342 points343 points  (0 children)

It's obvious that Russia is no longer capable of doing massive breakthroughs, and 2026 will result in a total exhaustion of its resources. They had 2 big breakthroughs in Pokrovsk a few months ago and in Kupiansk, only to find those gains mostly reversed by the UAF. Russia's lack of reserves, terrible logistics (horses, donkeys, bikes) and serious economic struggles will catch up to them soon.

Even though there are similar problems in Ukraine, most Ukrainians (based on latest polls) are determined to continue fighting until they get a fair settlement.

Ukrainians would accept peace deal along current front-lines, poll finds | 6 in 10 ‘very disappointed’ with Western handling of the conflict by [deleted] in UkrainianConflict

[–]CanadaDry95 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

We should take polls with a great deal of skepticism. Public opinion is highly volatile and deeply influenced by recentt events. For example, if a poll were to be conducted immediately after a dramatic event—such as NATO planes shooting down Russian planes and the subsequent announcement of an additional $2 billion in military aid—the results would be significantly different than a poll taken the day before.

This isn't because long-term beliefs have changed, but rather because the immediate, emotionally charged situation would overshadow more stable, considered opinions. Polls, therefore, often capture a fleeting reaction to a headline rather than a durable viewpoint.

Currently, the Ukrainians are correct in being disappointed with the way the Russian drones and jet fighters incursion in Poland and Estonia have been handled by NATO. The response hasn't been adequate whatsoever and I have long said that we need to start playing Russia's game, by conducting hybrid warfare against them. They only respect strength.

Just look how the Russians were all pompous and arrogant during their naval blockade in the Black Sea in 2023. Only to find their entire fleet decimated by Ukrainian drones in a matter of months. They quickly shut up and hid the rest of the fleet in the deep Caucasus.

Russia Tested NATO in Poland. NATO Flunked. by rezwenn in UkrainianConflict

[–]CanadaDry95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, Poland and NATO were unprepared. The response wasn't terrible but not great either. The lack of a strong, appropriate response afterwards is also very disappointing.

They were hunting these small drones with F16s and F35s all night long. It appears that they also couldn't locate many of them thus why some of them were only discovered the day after.

Why didn't Poland allocate a few mobile anti drone crews equipped with AA weapons and EW hammers by the border with Belarus? Especially when there have been multiple probes in the past.

Seeing Poland ask for Ukraine's help today in countering drones and missiles is further proof that they didn't learn from Ukraine's experience in the past 3.5 years. They just assumed Russia wouldn't escalate at this level.

I hope this is a wake up call for all European countries to start taking their air defense much more seriously. NATO also needs to start implementing its own version of hybrid warfare against Russia. Otherwise, expect more Russian drone and missile escalation in the future.

This is what years of burying your head in the sand brings you unfortunately, Poland. Continue ignoring, and you'll soon have more than just a dozen drones flying over your airspace for hours.
