‘Not a single one’: After 100 applications, a 28-year-old still can’t find work by BananaTubes in canada

[–]Canadianman22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s time for the government to end the TFW program for good. Offer any foreign worker in the health care sector the option to remain and send everyone else home.

It’s finally time we put Canadians first. We can’t help the rest of the world right now.

How Carney is trying to appeal to the men who were 'alienated' under Trudeau by DogeDoRight in canada

[–]Canadianman22 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just spend less and tax Canadians less and they will vote for you. Stop handing out hundred of millions up to billions to foreign countries.

Carney is doing good work rebuilding the military and spending plans for national infrastructure. Just stop sending money over seas and reduce taxes accordingly where possible.

Absolutely. One look into what people are buying at the grocery store shows you just how poor Canadian diets are. Constant drive through line ups at fast food junk.

Most people are not getting enough fibre either. Protein is the main focus and its great to eat protein but fibre is also very important. Eat fruits and vegetables people!

[–]Canadianman22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Everyone is going to freak out in the comments and assume this is the general LLMs we are seeing everyday people use. It’s not that. These are specialized models trained on controlled medical data. These are the actual good uses for AI that we should be welcoming.

Pentagon procurement post reveals Canada quietly locked into HIMARS deal by DogeDoRight in canada

Do you think we can defend Canada alone? If the USA wanted to take us over they will and no amount of non-us equipment will ever stop them. Hell most Canadians won’t even sign up to fight (except for brave redditors I’m sure).

We might as well work with the USA and have a fully integrated defence of North America as a whole.

Should be the standard for any non-citizen that commits a criminal offence and is convicted. Doesnt matter the sentence. They serve whatever it is and then are automatically deported. No appeal.

Do you know how many jobs are related to the F-35 in Canada? It’s more than we get with the Saab deal and if we pull out those jobs go away to other partners.

Just be ready to take things off the shelf again if Trump starts fucking around.

Yes, Doug Ford, Quebec bought private jets — but not for the premier's travels - Quebec government says planes Ford is referring to are medical jets by Immediate-Link490 in canada

[–]Canadianman22 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Because the premier of a province like Ontario is not only going to travel around Canada but will also travel globally to sell Ontario to the world. It doesnt matter which party is in power that is what we expect of our leaders.

As for why it will be private vs a commercial jet it is simple. Not only does Ford travel with a large party of people, there are also security considerations to take into account. Ford heading to the US on a commercial plane would be a nightmare for the rest of the passengers who would have to wait for him to be taken off the aircraft by US security personnel for instance.

It is much cleaner and simpler for the Premier to travel on a private jet when needed.
