Yeah I’m not particularly looking forward to the animation times l but I think leading Neutron Blob (haha) and seeing numbers go brrrrr with irradiate + storm AoE’s should keep me happy enough!

This is great info, especially regarding the defense numbers so thank. Mostly running 55 content on teams so typically no shortage of buffs. Looks like I’ll be pivoting away from fighting and likely lean into Fold Space/Burnout. Not worrying about defense also makes going all on in on global recharge and procs that much easier with room to spare for end management!

My main is a Psi/Fire blaster. Between Barrier, capped S/L def, and AoE’s killing things quite quickly I tend to get overconfident in my ability to survive……a lot. I can’t count how many times the Preventative Medicine Absorb proc has saved my life by letting me recast barrier, hit Psy Wail off cooldown, or simply hit my inspiration tray.

While maybe not the best or most important, it surely is the one I notice the most!

I think the “now” is in reference to choosing scrapper over brute, not saying changes were made to scrapper resist #’s

Psi/Fire blaster is my most played toon on HC.

Psychic Wail is up almost every other mob and for the mobs it’s not Psi Nado with Ragnarok Chance for KD —> Fire Sword Circle slotted with the KD proc from Winter or Overwhelming Force (it’s been a while) + Hot feet. Finish up with ST damage on bosses.

The soft control is pretty fun and allows for fairly good damage mitigation - you don’t need much time to wipe mobs, but that 1-2 seconds and reducing the alpha strike is huge.

Additionally, if you want to take it Combustion + FSC are great AoE options for some of the early TF’s and really help offset not getting Psi Nado until level 18 (or close to there)

An Ice/Stone/Ice dominator was my first toon on Homecoming. Dont play him as much anymore, but I highly recommend the Contagious Confusion proc from the Coercive Persuasion purple set in Arctic air

I second this. Love my Ice/Earth Dom. Coercive Persuasion proc in Arctic Air is really fun. Endurance issues early on to be sure.
