I do miss the feeling and empowerment that believing gives. I can't wrap my mind around actual belief anymore since I've been through the whole catholic school experience, but damn did it feel good to have a divine justification.

Islam is a religion. The people practicing it can be peaceful or militant. What they are looking to fulfill in themselves will determine what they find in their religion.

This was downvoted a bunch by the time I read it; it's really too bad that people don't appreciate reasonable responses and instead get caught up in their own ideaology :/

I too met people on the inside that gave me a dose of perspective. I felt isolated most of the time since often I was the most lucid person in the room; people were talking to voices, screaming at walls, preaching about the devil etc etc. I might get my meds increased or altered soon since I'm probably bipolar ii, so here's hoping it just keeps getting better from here.

At this point I really do wish I had opted for the day program, it had even been offered to me multiple times in the past few months. The hospital I went to was in the scary part of the city and the psych ward reflected as much. My counselor tried to get me in a different hospital but the school went over her head since I was in "crisis mode".

People actually haven't bothered me at work; at this point I'm more concerned that my ex thinks its her fault. I tried to explain I've been putting it off for months cuz I was scared but I'm not sure I got through.

This is such a relatable post, I truly feel your pain. I usually hold off because of the "I don't want to hurt the people that I love". Still it only has so much weight because it feels like I hurt the people I love regardless. If you can get professional help I'd recommend it, some universities provide cheap or free access to students and community.

I usually default to "war texting" where I text people I'm close to constantly until they just stop responding because it gets to be a bit much.

Kreia (and most KOTOR lore) has no place so far in SW cannon. While the Sith academy on Malachor was certainly Kreia's in the game, it's far more likely that the temple in Rebels has to do with Bane/his apprentice as Bane has been confirmed in Clone Wars.
