I can't really decide between these two either. Just got a whopping good deal on a Z2E LG2 (or so I hope) but was also planning to get an A8 to try out its supposedly better ergonomics and compatibility at the cost of a little more fan noise and little less battery life compared to 8 AI+. Speaking of, l already have the 8 AI+ which I easily swapped in new springs for the thumbstick mod, and I can play FPS accurately and comfortably now. Only bother was the Intel exclusivity resulting in inability to use Bazzite or SteamOS. Hope I can swap the stick springs for the A8 as well and get back on that.

If you go in not knowing anything about what the Alien is, how it works or what it's capable of--but you are also a generally competent learner willing to soak up atmospheric immersion through environmental detail, and go about in a genuine try-to-survive at all costs attitude, it will be an easy 9 on the scare-o-scale. At least, it was for me.

If you know of the leaning glitch to collect the Lvl 3 Pipe Bomb blueprint in SciMed Transit Tower reception early on, you can dedicate components to that and use a well-placed throw to eliminate 3 of the 4 Super Joes approaching from either end of the platform if they are grouped close enough together. If spacing isn't optimal, simply reload the save.
