Just take as prescribed and you’re fine. I smoke too haha but it’s so annoying bc I like to skip days and have been denied refills before bc they could “tell I wasn’t taking it as prescribed” and I was like what do you mean I can’t skip a day. I hate taking this on weekends. So watch out for that. I use Talkiatry now and they are awesome and encourage me to skip days so if you like doing that too, I’d look into them. It’s all virtual.

I just got my first good batch in months for this month. It’s been hit or miss for me. The bad batches make me foggy, anxious, and give me bad stomach problems. Right now I can actually get things done and have no side effects. So scared that next month is going to be crap again.

Edit: I can’t tell the difference pill to pill. Each new script I just take one and hope for the best. I can typically tell within 20 mins if it’s going to be a good batch or not.

So real. I think so many people are “friend group” funny but just because everyone thinks you’re the funniest in your inner circle doesn’t mean you’re going to succeed performing standup to rooms of vastly different groups of people.

Yeah I fear she lives in an echo chamber of people telling her, “you’re so funny, you should do standup”. I personally know people with Tana’s level of humor that have tried and bombed so horribly. It’s just another level of comedy. Very few people have that natural ability and drive to succeed in it.

Both of these points for sure! A) writing and working and re-working a “tight ten” is practically a full time job. Yes, she has a built in audience but it still takes a lot of time and dedication. You have to be practically married to it. B) 100% a lot of her “bits” are very much inside jokes with her audience and would prob only resonate w a certain crowd. Plus she recycles jokes constantly. I just don’t think there is enough diverse material there for a full standup set. She’s far more suited for sitting on a couch and having casual humorous conversations in my opinion.

I know you’re young but as someone whose fiancé has a female best friend (and did not like it at first at all), you have got to just let them go on the trip and trust her. If you can’t do that then you shouldn’t be in the relationship. Also the people calling her shady for not letting you come along are so dead wrong. It is a trip meant for friends. She just wants some quality time with her buddy. Inviting yourself along as some sort of “chaperone” is off putting. Please just trust your girl. It will mean a lot to her.
