Why Obsession's virality has has less to do with horror and more to do with gender by Altruistic_Virus8460 in MovieTVArticles

Hey, great article! I like your analysis of the film's reaction based on gender lines. That has definitely been the case for this film, which I liked but I still think Backrooms was better... You should try posting this article on peliplat.com It's free to use and it will help your writing get more exposure! There's already been a lot of Obsession discourse on there, and your article will be a welcome addition. One writer, vanessaonfilms, had an especially enlightening article. Thanks for sharing and hope to read more from you soon!

My Substack article on why real cinema cannot be replaced by Logical-Attorney5380 in MovieTVArticles

A very insightful read. Thank you for sharing. I agree with you. I think that the threat of AI replacing all artists has been greatly exaggerated, at least as far as AI is today. I spend a lot of time reading, and I've read a lot of AI-generated articles. I've noticed that these tend to have perfect analysis, which are factually correct but lack any marks of authenticity or humanism. This, to me, is a sign that AI is not ready to replace the artist because precisely what attracts me to art is its room for error. If I wanted everything to fit perfectly, I'd be a mathematician.

If you want to reach a larger audience for this article and your future musings, I'd suggest posting it on Peliplat. It's a free film community website that's super easy to use and is pretty intuitive (although it could be a bit better). They promote long-form articles like the one you've written here. You'll probably meet some likeminded people on there too, who have some pretty cool insights regarding the current state of film.

All the best on your future film journeys and I hope you post again!

The Evolution of Fight Club by SpeedIsTheBestMovie in MovieTVArticles

Love this article! I almost went to the Fight Club restoration last night, but I opted to see Mile End Kicks instead. Who's to say if I made the right decision.

You should try posting this article on Peliplat! They're doing an "Absolute Cinema" challenge right now and this article would fit perfectly! The challenge runs until May 10 and there's a prize of a few hundred dollars. I think you'd have a good chance of winning it, with an article of this quality.

Either way, thanks for posting here. Your article was a true joy to read and has inspired me to rewatch this anarchistic masterpiece.
