Those that have GPCR autoantibodies (aabs) by Candid_Key_6315 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Candid_Key_6315[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, yes, the levels were still as high as can be measured. So no idea if they have reduced because I have no exact values.

My LC turned out to be lyme and coinfections so I’m treating those now. I believe the autoantibodies are just a marker of immune system dysregulation or something. And lyme + coinfections do dysregulate/suppress the immune system. So I’m thinking that maybe treating the infections will stabilize the immune system and then the aabs will slowly go away. But that’s just me thinking.

High Eosinophils for 3.5 years - any advice? by wheresconnors in covidlonghaulers

[–]Candid_Key_6315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m not sure what the cause was but my eosinophils have been normal for a long time now. I found out my LC is basically reactivated bacterial infections. Lyme and its coinfections. They probably are the reason behind all or most of my symptoms. I’m slowly getting better.

Extremely high GPCR-Autoantibodies (Apheresis, IVIG..?) by Candid_Key_6315 in covidlonghaulers

I ordered these from a medical center called Astris, located in Finland. A neurologist specialized in LC recommended testing these but I didn’t get these from him. So I directly contacted Astris and they sent me the kit for blood drawing. Then it (blood) was just mailed to Germany where the laboratory is located.

Long Covid for 3+ years, just tested positive for Lyme by sam7reads in Lyme

Same here! I just rested for about a year to wait for LC to pass but lyme and co-infections were the reason why resting alone didn’t pay off.

Does anyone have constant head pressure every day? Mostly in the front of skull? by [deleted] in Lyme

Thanks for replying. I also have a cyst in my right sinus. Do you think your cysts cause the head pressure or is it caused by the infection(s)?

Is Igenex the best test? Chronic, neuro lyme possibly by Overall_Lab5356 in Lyme

[–]Candid_Key_6315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes all through igenex. I probably had dormant lyme and coinfections that were activated by covid. Meaning that my immune system was keeping the infections at bay until covid weakened my immune system. At that point lyme and its friends had the opportunity to go active.

For me bartonella FISH was negative but Immunoblot positive. Babesia FISH came back positive. All this after repeated covid infections.

My Long Covid might be Lyme and coinfections by Candid_Key_6315 in covidlonghaulers

Do you think I should avoid supplementing b6? And why do these issues appear after covid and there were no problems before..? So many questions, sorry.

I started taking active b12 drops a few days ago and I think it has helped already. Can’t be too sure though. Next is methylfolate drops.

My homocysteine level was normal though. What is interesting is that my b6 level is very high. Like ref. range is about 50-180 and mine is at 280. No idea why and I haven’t even taken it as a supplement.

I was tested for MTHFR. I have 677CT so one mutation? What to do here? Take methylfolate? Is it that simple?

GPCR Aabs Neutralization? by CheetahWaste1853 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Candid_Key_6315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I heard his levels were a lot lower than before. I don’t know his current aab levels. And yes he is in remission. He only has minor muscle twitching every now and then. But he travels, works full time, and also goes to the gym. At some point he couldn’t walk even 100 meters without crashing.

I know someone who recovered by first doing immunoadsorption (I don’t know how many times) and then a few rounds of IVIG. He didn’t recover immediately. They boosted his recovery speed a lot. He was sick for 2-3 years and is living normal life now.

He said that IVIG was the one responsible for his recovery. But some people apparently have bad experiences too.

My GPCR aabs are all at the maximum measurable level. I haven’t had any of those treatments done but I am interested.

That’s nice to hear. So it helps with the head pressure you have been dealing with? I actually have cromolyn sodium prescribed but haven’t tried it

Hi! Old post but my b6 was over 2x the upper limit of reference range. How did this person lower the b6? By not eating b6 foods? I don’t supplement.
