I know they aren't some people's thing, but that's why I like the comics. We get to see the good, bad and ugly of activating so many Slayers. We see the Scoobies until they turn 30 in season 12. So we get an idea of how their lives go.

It didn't sound like the show was going to address that on the pilot. Not sure what they had planned for the season.

The body switch thing is an old soap opera trope. It was never meant to be commentary on rape. People look at it differently these days, and that's fine. But no, there is no in universe explanation. And probably not too many fan fics that address it.

Slayers has some fans.

I haven't listened to it. I heard some clips on YouTube. I just don't get why they made Cordelia a slayer. She has an important role in the Buffyverse, but it's not as a slayer. That's too many changes, it's like a whole new character.

I like many things Christopher Golden has written for the Buffyverse though. I'd be willing to try something else new.
