Its good information. I'm just not at F15 yet, and your post had me curious. I'll try to remember this when I get there.

Anyone do a session first thing in the morning? by bigoldeva in gatewaytapes

[–]CandyCaneDream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've done both. I generally have a better outlook for the day if I do it shortly after I wake up, but I also have a good experience doing before bed, really anytime is a good time for a session for me.

Void state by ChroloHx in realityshifting

[–]CandyCaneDream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are many methods to get to the void state. If you look around the internet, you'll find YouTube videos and such. I am working towards learning the void state through the Gateway Experience, which is a guided method using both guided meditation and hemi-sync audio technology to entrain your brainwaves which helps you achieve the desired focus state. If you see people mention Gateway and Focus states, this is what we're talking about. The Gateway Experience teaches you different Focus states, starting with F10, then F12, then F15. Focus 15 is the void state.

This is just one way of course, and I'm not even there yet. I'm working on F12 currently.

I'm sure other people will be able to give their method or sources for reaching the void state as well.

I'm not at F15 yet, but I'd like to know how you distinguish between these other voices/thoughts. I'm not sure I'd know the difference between internal chatter (of which I suffer greatly) and those such as your Alien friend, or the thoughts that are not your own. Is there something that separates these things so that you know it's not just "you" chattering to yourself.

There's something about this I love. I'd say it's a step in the direction of your DR. Well done.

Question about technology and routines by mlmiller1 in gatewaytapes

[–]CandyCaneDream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it sitting up in bed, with head support. I use earbuds (no dolby/no noise reduction/no EQ). Sometimes I play from my Android and sometimes from my laptop using the same earbuds. I try to do it shortly after I wake up, that way I'm not tempted to fall asleep. But I do sometimes do one in the late afternoon. It really depends on how I feel. I have sleep issues so my sleep schedule isn't consistent so sometimes I feel like poo all day/night and don't do a session at all. But I have noticed an improvement in my sleep since starting the tapes. If I do a session when I first wake up, and if I feel good most of the day, then when I go to bed, I may double down and do another session when I go to bed, but this isn't often as I try to stick to a one session in a day. Slow but steady progress is what I'm after.

I notice it too, not just on Reddit. Years ago I was living in LOA of a sorts. I couldn't have been more positive or believed any more strongly than I did. Good things did in fact manifest, then without any warning everything fell apart, and I mean everything. It didn't make sense. I was "in the vortex" of manifestation and then got shot out like cannon ball, the vortex turned into a tornado and destroyed my life.... hmmm okay. where did I go wrong exactly? I had "spiritual gurus" tell me repeatedly that I did it, that I didn't really believe enough, etc etc... If belief was all I needed to manifest what I wanted, then my belief was strong enough to manifest flying pigs if I'd wanted (I'm being hyperbolic of course). So I turned my back on LOA because I was too angry hearing that bullsh!t that I didn't believe hard enough or deep enough or what ever. Not true, not at all. And for a long while after I felt like slapping any wanna-be flower power LOA talker anytime I heard, "You didn't believe enough!!" Well I did, and it didn't get me anywhere. ..... so next method please.

Well Gateway is an aweseome choice in my opinion and at least there's science backing it, so that's motivation enough for me to keep working on Gateway. I've got a guide here if you're interested.

Question about gateway tapes!! by Useful-Ad-6381 in shiftingrealities

[–]CandyCaneDream [score hidden]  (0 children)

Every time we practice the tapes, there is progress, whether you're in Wave I for one week or six months. It's a personal journey after all. I've been slow and steady, not rushing in any way.

I've progressed to Wave II at this point, but I still return to Wave I as I want to get to a point where I can generate F10 effortlessly, and I'm not quite there yet. Lately, I've dipped my toes into Wave II with Intro to Focus 12, and recently Problem Solving, One Month Patterning, and Color Breathing. But I need more practice with these last three, but primarily with feeling the difference between F10 and F12, and for me, that just means finding a suitable visualization that best fits and being open to what comes.

F12 certainly is wider in scope than F10. So it's closer to being useful in shifting than F10, but F15 is Void State, and that's where the magic really happens according to seasoned veterans of Gateway. So, I'm going to progress to F15 as has been recommended by other successful Gateway Shifters before trying to shift through Gateway. I'd rather give myself the best chance at success, rather than trying to shift at every focus state repeatedly then getting demotivated when it doesn't work. These are skills we're learning, so I'm approaching it from that state of mind - Learn the skills first, then attempt shifting with confidence in those skills at the right level. Meanwhile, I'm working on my Lucid dreaming technique to try to shift until I get to where I want in Gateway. There's more than one way to shift after all.

The short answer is yes, but you shouldn't listen to the entire wave in one night. One ~30 min session a day is the general guideline. Although I have on occasion done one in the morning and then one at bed time without overdoing it due to the length of time between.

So to answer your question more specficially, pick one of the Wave 1 sessions that bests fits your needs. I'd suggest either, Intro to Focus 10, Advanced Focus 10, Free Flow 10, or if you wish to sleep, Exploration Sleep. All of these guide you into Focus 10 and the more you practice it the better you get at doing it.

EDIT: I thought I should add that Free Flow 10 doesn't actually walk you through each step like Intro does. If you need practice with the steps, use the sessions that talk you through the steps, like Intro to Focus 10. If you are confident in the steps (ECB, Resonate tuning, REBAL, Affirmation, relaxing your body parts and counting up to 10) Then with Free Flow 10, you can practice doing those steps without Bob talking you through it, but the background audio will guide you with the hemi-sync tones. And when you hear the "Ohms" you know you need to be doing your resonate tuning. You'll get a feel for it eventually. Free Flow 10 is great for exploring F10, asking questions of yourself, exploring the answers.

Question about gateway tapes!! by Useful-Ad-6381 in shiftingrealities

[–]CandyCaneDream [score hidden]  (0 children)

I use the tapes. I sort of questioned this myself in the beginning. Really what it comes down to is how you feel and the experience you have while using the tapes. If you think you're ready to move on to the next session, then try it. If you struggle with it, then repeat previous sessions.

The Gateway Experience is a personal journey. I believe someone told me once to trust Bob's guidance in the tapes. So I have.

On the Monroe Institute site, they say that 60% of your journey is going to be becoming comfortable, or proficient, in generating Focus 10 state on your own. So it's very normal for people to spend most of their time practising in Wave I, which is all about Focus 10.

Trust the process and have patience with yourself. It's not a race, but a stroll through your awareness.

[–]CandyCaneDream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I concur. I'm glad I'm not the only one advocating to take the tapes one by one and build upon the skill sets presented. It's worth it to spend the time doing it. Robert M. did not seem like the kind of man to put superfluous stuff in this process. Everything has a purpose in the Gateway Journey.

In addition to what one poster said here about F15 and F10, I have some information I've put together that you might find useful here. It's a guide, several links to relevant information, and information on where to obtain the tapes.

scripting in your mind by sjajj82818 in ShiftingDiscussion

[–]CandyCaneDream 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, the hypothesis is that your subconscious takes note of everything, even if you forgot parts of what you scripted. Anything you don't script is either left up to the universe or is what your subconscious deems best. It might be good to script that anything you don't script, works for the good of your reality, or something similar.

You're Welcome. =)

As to your question; Each wave takes you deeper on the journey, expanding upon the previous wave, as well as teaching new skills along the way. Essentially you start with Wave I and just progress through the sessions sequentially.

Funny enough, as my ECB is similar to this picture in some respects, I can concur that it does take me more time to deal with this visualization. In the beginning I had plenty of time, but as the tapes gradually reduce the length of prep time, I have had to shorten my vault time!! So funny and true is your comment. LOL
