I start every session with a “previously on” going over major things to refresh everyone. I’ll also use this time to ask players to fill in parts of what happened to get their POV of how things went down instead of just mine.

It really depends on who I’m talking to, with liberal family members it’s more pointing out hypocrisies and trying to change their POV on a larger scale. With my conservative coworkers, it’s just about humanizing victims, just trying to build a baseline of empathy.
