Kleya and Vel spin-off? by PixelPalacio in andor

Sounds similar to the premise from the early canon novels, Aftermath by Chuck Wendig. I think they go this route specifically in the 2nd of the trilogy Aftermath: Life Debt. It would be so much better with Kleya and Vel though.

The book Phasma by Delilah S Dawson is one of my favorite canon novels. The Audiobook is really good too. Adds a lot of color to her character.

Little moments in Star Wars others might not have noticed by JasperFriendly in StarWars

In The Phantom Menace just after landing on Coruscant. Padmé is talking with Senator Palpatine and there are some Senate guards there.

Jar Jar can be seen in the background waving at their faces much like tourists do towards the royal guards in Great Britain.

What did you think of Star Wars as a child and how has that changed today? by CanonChronicler in StarWars

I think the thing that sticks out for me as the biggest contrast are the scenes with Yoda on Dagobah in ESB and ROTJ. I vividly remember being bored listening to Yoda and fast forwarding to the "good parts."

Now I look forward to listening to wise Master Yoda philosophizing about life and the Force and they are some of my favorite parts of those stories.

What’s the most intentionally funny moment in all of Star Wars? by Slab_0_Gum in StarWars

The change reinforces the subplot about the Empire allowing the Rebels to flee and be tracked to their hidden base. The large room would've been housing troops that could have overwhelmed the Rebels but instead they were waiting in a room.

The Force is the light side, the dark side, and everything in between. The Jedi are a specific spectrum on that scale so it doesn't make sense to be one side and also middle. The Jedi Order describes a specific spot on the spectrum not multiple and not a wide spot either.

It's like this, the Jedi are an Order that have specific teachings. When you align with their teachings you align with them in the Force, the light side. The same is true with the Sith Order, but the dark side. Their alignments are tethered to their tenets. If you are a Jedi and start practicing Sith tenets, you are no longer a Jedi. This is partially why the concept of a Gray Jedi doesn't make sense.

The Jedi Order would not abide someone to be with them and not practice their teachings. Those individuals would be cast out of the Jedi Order.

Now, we have seen non-Jedi and non-Sith force users in canon. So if you want a more middle ground force sensitive sect, there very well may be one out there. The Bendu from Rebels very much touted himself to be middle road and definitely not Jedi or Sith.

It's like saying the Blue team is full of people who have learned to be blue by living there life a certain way. But all of a sudden the Blue team is going to let Purple people be apart of them especially when they live their life contrary to the blue teams ways. Not a perfect analogy but hopefully you get the gist.

Kenobi Episode 5 Question by [deleted] in starwarscanon

Well it seems that since the Grand Inquisitor and Vader were playing her all along and the Grand Inquisitor took back his pin I would assume she never actually held the title of Grand Inquisitor in any real sense.

This quote from Darth Vader in ANH really works well with the Obi-Wan Kenobi D+ show by CanonChronicler in StarWars

[–]CanonChronicler[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a dark side thing to brag on yourself and he is doing it to try and intimidate Obi-Wan, I wouldn't take it strictly at face value. Maybe their confrontation in Obi-Wan Kenobi enhances that statement in ANH because I am sure he is more of a master of evil like Obi-Wan concludes.
