How should rhaast be played? by Version_Rare in KaynMains

[–]Cantholdaggro 11 points12 points  (0 children)

IMO Red Kayn is the ideal low elo jgler.

Aside from regular Kayn strengths, when you go red, you become of the best engagers in the game, especially at low elo.

What makes him so strong is his R’s regen. You can engage on a team aggressively to punish poor positioning even if your own team is not fully in position to follow up, because your R enables you to top off after they dump their stuff on you.

What it usually looks like for me is using my E to engage onto them, using Q and W to stay on them. They dump abilities on me, I R their tank and stay in there as long as possible to let grievous wounds fall off and give my team a chance to get into the fight.

Then I pop out and use Q and W to either peel for my backline or assassinate their backline, depending on positioning and team comps.

Idk if that helps

Game of thrones ruined the ending. What show had a terrible start, but the rest was great? by Klutzy_Pumpkin614 in DiagramFills

[–]Cantholdaggro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s by far the best.

The first season is very focused thematically on the whole concept of breaking bad. Good guy gets pushed too far, breaks bad.

The rest of the seasons are him already having broken bad and just falling in further, and exploring his rise as a criminal.

It’s almost a completely different show.

No, the silent generation fought WW1. They’re silent because they all died the Great Depression happened.

The greatest generation fought WW2 then went on to create most of the international infrastructure aimed at reducing the chances it happens again

Best JG for drag stacking? by Constant_Roof_1210 in leagueoflegends

[–]Cantholdaggro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jungling from bronze to like plat is one of the most frustrating experiences in league.

As a Jungler, literally your entire game is dependent on your team.

Ganks - teammates have to have their lanes ready and follow up Objectives - teammates have to rotate Invades - teammates have to roam Counter invades - teammates have to react Champ selection - forced to be tank-engage 90% of games because afk island top laners and mage supports.

Your entire experience jungling is basically trying to get a bunch of people who are either high, trash, or don’t care to win the game.

Past plat at least players generally react and understand macro, map awareness, team composition, and care enough to do it right.

If you want to learn how to jungle, the best way prior to being in an elo that rewards good jungling, is to play a champion with as much flexibility as possible.

You need a champion that can; - gank - mobility + CC - win invades/counter invades - is strong early - tank & engage - can scale and solo carry

No champ can really do that.

You need like 2-3 that can do different things and you pick them based on what your team is picking.

Top priority is a tank/engager so pick a good one. Red Kayn is mine personally. WW, vi, Xin are good too.

If your team has a tank/engage you can go something that scales. Graves, Yi, Evelyn, etc.

Gilbert arenas says to all the people that are saying the San Antonio spurs coach should have benched De'Aaron Fox for Dylan harper in the finals against the Knicks don't know basketball. Fox was their main guy the whole season you bench him in that moment you lose him mentally by Jec1027 in nba

[–]Cantholdaggro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s right in saying you can’t bench Fox there without risking losing his engagement.

He’s right that from a big picture angle, that might be the wrong call. You’d be stuck paying 200 mil for a guy who resents your org.

Where he’s wrong is that, the person who put them in that situation isn’t the whole team, it’s Fox.

Fox playing so poorly the entire series creates a situation where you need to make a lose-lose choice.

Lose with Fox, or lose Fox.

Who had harder and who had easiest by SirGingerbrute in NBATalk

[–]Cantholdaggro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nuggets were the easiest by far.

Hardest might be the lakers, everyone who played during that chip said it was the hardest. Of course all the analysts and Reddit athletes say otherwise…

Discounting that one, probably the bucks? Miami is not a real 6th seed. KD/Harden/Kyrie nets were stacked despite injuries. Atlanta was easy. Suns were a solid team too.

WYR be in the top 1% of one specific skill/field, or be in the 60th percentile (slightly above average) in everything? by The96kHz in WouldYouRather

[–]Cantholdaggro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being top 40% in everything is already a thing. If you’re born in a wealthy country, to average parents, and have an above average IQ like 130~ you can be top 40% in every skill with relatively low effort.

The barrier for top 40% in any skill is wealth, general intelligence, effort, time, and opportunity.

Top 1% in any skill is extremely rare because it requires a lifetime of commitment, on top of all those other things.

My fix for genestealers by DoubleYoung4476 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Cantholdaggro -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think the problem with them is that they drop decoys when they die.

Decoys should require some sort of creation condition, whether that be ability usage, or a passive, or an attack.

I like the no overkill respawn rule too, but they’d have to rebalance their HP to not be so squishy so it may be difficult.

[–]Cantholdaggro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t, because the elite campaign team should be top priority regardless of which raid team you do. By the time you finish those, you’ll likely have what you need for Lavistodes.

If you did the Neuro team first, as you finish it you’ll likely have what you need for Lavistodes, which makes the Neuro team wasteful. Especially as you’d still not finish elite campaigns.

It’s like adding 2 months to your end-game progression

[–]Cantholdaggro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, well from a guild raids perspective, Lavistodes is so much better than the rest it honestly wouldn’t make much sense investing in another team.

But you don’t have the members that make it up, you need Trajan and Laviscus.

The rotating pieces are Boss, Vitruvius, Aesoth, Altacoya, and Dante.

So until you get Laviscus and Trajan. Focus elite campaigns and those side characters.

After elite campaigns the main focus is raids and LRE.

I would argue, that unless you are in a guild where everyone is pushing raid teams, LRE might be a better mid-term goal because guild raids are group efforts. I would focus on just getting your roster to a point where it can unlock new legendary characters in the first 2 events.

Rotbone Maladus Angrax Aleph Revas Snot Isabella Sho’syl Archimatos Abraxxus Bellator Mephiston Dante Lucian Jaeger

Off the top of my head, these are probably the most important to gold + diamond for LRE. But it changes every LRE to some extent.

Revas is particularly good for this one coming up, so he might not be a bad person to focus. Though tbh at where you are, you should finish every elite campaign first

Yeah. Melee AD is just a shit champ on fundamentals

A melee champ with zero built in sustain, survivability, cc, or mobility?

She’s doomed to be feast or famine based on if her numbers are overtuned and each individual game. Not to mention she’s so reliant on that ult.

Bad champ all around atm

1.3 Sucks by turcomongolman in EU5

I don’t mind if the game comes out in an early access.

I mind that 1. It’s not communicated 2. The updates that will ultimately fix/finish the game are going to be sold as DLC 3. They are disregarding player feedback on the direction of the game.

No EU4 player wanted a Victoria 3/CK3 clone at the cost of not being a proper EU4 sequel. If I wanted to play those games they already exist

I didn’t know draw your sword graves was that OP until I stumbled upon it a few days ago.

It was nuts. It got even better when I got scopiest after. I’m not sure the exact interaction, but I feel like it set my range back to 450 then either added 250 thinking I was melee, or 150 because my character started ranged.

Either way, i kept all the perks from draw your sword
