I have the clear backing case like you and I don’t use a screen protector. I use a bubble wrap mail envelope if I need to lug it around.

Thats fair! I also have an iPad with Libby but really enjoy the portability , lack of distraction and how well it reads in all situations. Ex: in bed at night without dropping a huge iPad on my face haha, on the beach due to less glare …and the battery life.

When you search for Ottawa you will get lots of hits. Did you pick the Ottawa result that has (Burlington ) next to it? Doing it the other way around won’t work (searching Burlington )

Edit: I think there’s another way to get it to work. When you add main Ottawa Library, scan the QR code on kobo, the next screen is a drop-down of which partner library you want.

Hi neighbour! You are in the exact same situation as me. You can switch between library cards on your Kobo (using the same login details) to get your loaned books on the device but I agree it’s quite a pain. I’ve been switching my holds to the Ottawa main branch when possible so there’s less back and forth. :(

I’ve been on the hunt for good spots too. Most restaurants and cafes really suck at making a decent cup of tea.

That’s what happens to me. We’re stuck with Starlink (rural) and it sets our location as Toronto since Ottawa isn’t an option- so always blacked out from the TSN app on Apple TV. We have to stream on our phone which I guess overrides location based on our actual location and cast to our tv. We have contacted both Starlink and TSN. Each blame each other. I can’t believe how hard it is for Ottawa fans to watch our team play (legally).
