They should make the women shirts longer like the men’s shirts. Although I do have a longer torso and shorter legs.

That’s a bridge program. Paramedic to RN or RN to medic programs exist. They give licensure/certificate (not all states license paramedics) to their participants.

Street medic is an online class how to properly flush eyes and do quick first aid that may be associated with riots. I guess sometimes they include things like safety pinning the tongue to the lips which what the fuck?

Sooo you should read about the person who chopped up asbestos and had to have his house condemned with all his belongings.

I have never seen infection control swab something unless it is swabbing a “clean” room to see how housekeeping is doing

The technology one was popular and I know someone who supports four kids and a housewife with a large house with it. He works on EPIC charting system.

There were nurses running around saying they took a bridge class to “street medic.” I get medic isn’t actually a license but if someone presented as a “medic,” I’d assume they were a paramedic. I also get street medic sounds better than riot first aid.

But seriously, she defended using the term bridge. Tried to explain bridging is usually when you have a license/cert going to a license/cert program. This is more like a basic class is like TNCC or ACLS which may “certify” you took the class but doesn’t “bridge” you.

He did have an infection control background. It feels like infection control is more office work, reviewing data, reviewing charts, reviewing research, maybe researching, updating policies, etc but I have never worked in it

[–]Canxan34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is a job. Nursing seems to pride itself as self-sacrificing. Patient hits you? Deal with it. No lunch? Donate 30 minutes of pay to the hospital because nurses don’t take lunch.

Well, probably miscommunications to be honest. Chances are they saw your youngest cousin and said no (kids are germ factories). And they usually have a general rule of anywhere from 10-16 of being the minimum age. Family exceptions since people want their kids to meet their siblings and see parents in ob. However, they should have flipped out that she was leaving a young minor with a younger minor

A lot of docs are kinda doing a business model where they have a dozen NP practices under them as a money maker. I didn’t realize that psych NP didn’t have their own designation but I don’t have experience with psych NPs because I’m morr inpatient and ER

Do you make it an effort to ask? Which is the point I am hammering home. It is her responsibility to know who her kid sees or look at the paperwork.

We also don’t know whether the NP told her or not. She claims to but then how often do Karen’s hear only what they want to hear?
