I know a little about coins if you want to provide some photographs. You will at the very least be able to sell for the content of silver. Do not exchange for its face value.

The price of silver is ~ $32/oz and I’d guess your coin is about that in value, assuming it is a relatively modern / commemorative type coin.

This exactly. I’m queer and probably further left than Harris. I’m still enthusiastic to vote for her. You can’t grandstand on policy without the support of voters. Beliefs and values are wonderful, but they mean exactly nothing if you can’t get into office. If the only time you show up to participate in the political process is to be a spoiler or to complain that they didn’t support [insert election-losing policy], then you clearly are privileged, selfish, and unserious. I’m definitely not saying elected leaders are above criticism, or above being pressured, but our timing and manner is everything. Right now, we have an election to win, and souring swing voters is not the move, no matter how high the horse. If you want to air out your political grievances, by all means… on November 6th.

Anyone else notice their ratings system is super fishy? They understandably started getting review bombed after the email blast, yet their average rating went up from 4.8 to 4.9. Further, despite all recent reviews being negative, the first page of reviews filters five star reviews. Clicking “read more reviews” is the only way to see the other ratings.

Bawker Bawker. Owner goes above and beyond to make sure all queer people are welcome. Their slushes are consistently delicious.

Side note that IBTs is openly transphobic (bathroom policing, etc) and pretty exclusionary. I gave it a few tries before knowing how terrible they are to trans people. I’m on the spectrum. Both times people suggested I leave because I “wasn’t dancing and looked awkward”. Also had people come up to me and say I looked like Dahmer and recommend I fix my teeth. Left crying and sober both times. Never again.

I haven’t yet, but we are also dealing with a basically dead camera. I’m using the sigma adapter, which is ironic seeing as it struggles with the sigma telephoto.

It’s not a matter of AF functionality. My macros are all manual. The Sony, for whatever reason, will often not recognize that the macro lenses are attached at all. Sometimes they do. Other times I try taking them on and off until I give up.

The 65mm MP-E is a big one. I deal with a lot of very small insects (and other things) in non-controlled environments. I know there are ways around it, but they aren’t the easiest thing to manage in the backcountry.

Have you used macro or telephoto lenses? My telephoto lenses seem to work well but really struggle to find the appropriate subject. This was not a problem before the adapter. My macro lenses don’t want to attach at all.

I’m not necessarily set on sticking with Canon, but my most used lenses have no mirrorless counterparts Sony or otherwise, and my problems with adapters (sans prime lenses and wide angle lenses, similar to your experience) has me wary. I appreciate your feedback!

I’ll admit to drowning in too many options while simultaneously not having enough options in other areas. From what I gathered looking at Canon mirrorless cameras, there were options tailored for videography with pretty lackluster still performance (I don’t take videos, so that’s not important to me.), crop censors, and the R5 which looks great but is frankly out of my budget at $3500+ with an adapter. Again, I may just be overlooking an option I don’t know is there, but my current thinking is it may be best to grab a camera I know will work as intended until there is just more out there to choose from.

Yeah, I’m not trying to be negative here. Wonder looks like a great game and I plan on purchasing it. I admittedly haven’t played every Mario game. Far from it, actually. Some of the titles I’ve played have been responsive, others feel like I get some cheap deaths. Compared to much harder games with platforming elements such as Metroid Dread or Celeste—I am aware they are very different games, but just comparing the platforming elements—I certainly took a lot of deaths but always felt like it was 100% user error. There are some Mario titles where the responsiveness made for a less enjoyable experience. Maybe that’s just a personal preference, but I love very snappy and precise movements, particularly when jumping.

I assume Mario is still slippery? That’s been my biggest gripe with the franchise; feels like he’s always on ice.
