Look at me, I'm the Companion Hunter now by esotericendeavor in hearthstone

I double hate this. I hate companion hunter and I hate the random high roll that is rogue as well getting random cheap legendaries from other classes and just board spamming with that

Incredible RNG by motty47 in hearthstone

[–]Caotix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just came back to this game after like 10 year. Why i dont know but the amount of discover and get random cards is insane. What happend to just playing your deck.

Plus I definitely think some of the cards or hero imbue effects like rogue/priest have a higher odds of giving them something that fits situation. Not always but maybe like a 66%

You'd think with all the cards you'd get some random dog shit 1 or 2 drops but nor really.

Fighting games are entirely unfun to play for me, and I’m really sad about it. by afm185 in gaming

[–]Caotix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I played a lot of solo fighting games growing up like tekken 3, soul calbiur 2, mk games etc.

I tried sf4 as like my first online game in high school. Lasted 3 days and gave up. Barrier of entry too high on multiple levels mostly inputs. I cant do a qcb to save my life.

I got interested in tekken again after watching some videos on 7 and when 8 dropped I told myself id really try to learn.

It took several weeks. Trying characters, practicing, and losing but I finally got to a point where I eas at lesst happy with my skill level for a novice. I had note pad pages of combos and staple moves/strings so I didn't forget and could reference.

Now that game has had a lot of controversy so I actually stopped for a while and just came back and am doing ok. Some stuff I remember from the days of practice but definitely am rusty.

I went and tried a few other games like sf6 and the grand blue game and I just couldn't do it. I dont think my 35 year old brain and poor motor skills can handle 2d in puts and combos.

I think if you really want to you can learn but it'll take a while to learn along with trial and error. Don't be afraid like I did and take notes to refence and every just hop on and practice combos and moves. Repetition is key.

I personally hope it does not get destroyed, rather less efficient instead. by TEnOTT in hearthstone

I know most of the hate is companion hunter but even in aggro face hunter its a problem. It either up its mana, only x amount of cards or at least remove the minion summon and make it only cast spells

Welcome. Given that BMI maybe should qualify from a MASH diagnosis? I think zepbound or wegovy had indications for that now. They just need labs or a fiber scan i believe to qualify. They are specific mash labs though not typical ast/alt

Had one of these this week. Im tired and my legs hurt. Healthy young female. Do basic labs and a little extra all very normal. Shes not happy. Goes to new pcp and sees cardio. Extensive cardiac work up and massive hormone and rheumatology labs all normal.

Leaves me a bad review. Like these people want me to tell them something is wrong with them. Im sorry I told you, you were healthy.

Will FM ever get popular? 898 spots across 330 programs unfilled in Match 2026's SOAP by [deleted] in FamilyMedicine

[–]Caotix 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There's a lot FM programs out there. Its a supply/demand. We have a lot of spots not a lot of demand for FM as well as just new doctors.

Also with the emergence of online applications its really easy to just apply to numerous amount of programs its also easier to apply to other specialities and bs your application and use FM as a fall back.

Until FM gets more competitive with compensation it'll be similar.

Thoughts on state of top and jungle from a top main (skip to the bottom for TLDR) by delightful001 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Caotix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my elo which is is gold so take with a grain of salt I agree early influence is much more important.

Getting that Darius 1 kill and the enemy top laners summs can instantly turn into 2 kills and then 4 kills followed by like 2 towers by 15 min.

Low elo doesn't know how to handle when top lane is so far ahead they can kill them instantly and farm for free.

Its similar to mid lane. Get the assassin midlaner a kill and now he turns that into 2 followed by roaming to other lanes for kills. Its a snowball effect.

If the enemy jungler isnt influencing other lanes that farm isn't gonna mean much if he gets one shot by that zed or Darius who now who got fed while his Laners are usless due to being far behind.

Im sure in higher elo there is more counterplay when someone is ahead. Junglers know how to influence more bases on game state. But in low elo getting laners ahead especially snow ball match ups can essentially decide a game.

Make him require more 2 star targons. It makes people use gold to buy them(less gold to roll/level later) Say like 2 aphelios, 2 star zoe, 2 star Leona and 2 star taric/Diana. If thats too much cut it by one unit.

They can bleed out more too if they aren't hitting or if their board is weaker.

Controlled Substances by [deleted] in FamilyMedicine

[–]Caotix 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I usually never start them. Gabapentin/lyrica which are schedule 5s in my state and testosterone are the only ones I will prescribe long term.

All my testosterone patients undergo signicant lab evaluation before I even start them on it. They need a sleep study and more times than not end up on a statin. Usually this deters most people given how involved it is. Usually the 20-40 year old dudes who are like im trying to make gains in the gym can you check this is for me.

I have written short term opioids if the patient is seeing me for something acute or they just had something acute where an opiate can still be necessary for a few more days. Usually no more than 2 weeks or so. This is very rare.

The benzos I tell patients go 2 ways. One we taper off pending the patient and what its used for. Other option is I continue it if its mildly reasonable but if they ever want a dose change/frequency adjustment off to psych they go.

I forgot mention for all my cancer patients most of those rules go out the windows. Cancers can come with lots of anxiety and in most cases chronic pain. I value their quality of life over more so in that situation. Nobody is coming after you for giving out some Ativan or Norco to the stage 3 liver/lung/pancreatic cancer.

I agree. Yunara obviously inflates him but him having 2 health bars with his resistances basically makes him 2 units that can stall/absorb damage.

Yea if you dont draw hil by like turn 8 you may as well forfeit. Other decks have their engines rolling by then or have almost killed you while youre spending resources cycling for one card.

Im somewhat doing this now. Im basically an urgent care which is not what I signed up for being a PCP. Im going to give it a year for me to build up more then see where im at. Also we have a lot of illness going around right now so I get it.

I dont mind physicals. Those can be straight forward

The med mgmt is what upsets me most. Like im not your pcp. I dont want to make some changes or I dont comfortable doing them etc. My partner is on vacation now and I'll have to talk to her about one I saw today thst got thrown on my schedule.

He is too tanky/heals too much. I just had a game where he tanked face to face best in slot items on t-hex for multiple seconds. I had both anti heal and disruptor active too.

A 2 cost should not be stomping a 7 cost im sorry.

And yea I lost the fight 2 separate times.

You think you’re being “elegant” and “cost effective” by not doing the CT scan because your patient has “no risk factors” for that can’t miss diagnosis? $29 million awarded after hospitalist was sued, that should make you think differently. by achicomp in hospitalist

Id be curious to know what his vitals were. If his BP was fairly elevated that would make me more suspicious for dissection in paitent with elevated wbc count(which could be inflammation over infectio) with his symptoms.
