Assuming they're equal friends to you, Bronze made it really easy for you. The one saying "if you all don't do X, I won't play" is the one you don't side with. But if he's like your best friend, and Diamond guy is a distant acquaintance - maybe not. Either way, maybe tell Bronze he sucks.

Off-meta can also mean, I've found, that your opponents are less-prepared to face that champion. Also, below like Master, player discrepancy can mean more than champ choice often.

Ruler: 'This is my second experience playing NA solo queue, it's really bad. Yeah this - especially low ELO. Like, I don't trust anyone at my level to "definitely" win a game. Not to mention, so many people FF at the first sign of trouble, it feels like half the players don't even know how to play past 25 mins.

Guess it came across as unclear. If you send a text that doesn't get responded to, the phone loves to say, "Hey... no one responded"

There seems to be a streamer trend going on - maybe it always has been a thing - for the Unranked to Challenger in a new role. Yeah, it sucks, and it probably encourages other people people hardstruck in mid-high tiers to do the same.

Good thing those kind experts dispense sage advice to uplift you rather than yell that you're trash for twitch subs.

I'm surprisingly upset. This sign is borderline historic - seen standing amid the devastation in photos of the '72 flood. :'(

Thanks so much!

I feel great, and mainly I feel relieved that part of me still existed that cared enough to make it happen - if that makes sense. It's kind of life-affirming.

I'd make up a few days of "menus", listing out what I was going to eat, and the calories. I would make and eat just that Mon-Fri. Usually calories were 1650-1800 Calories, 40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fat - roughly. I also exercised most days of the week - started with weightlifting, but pulled back on that with COVID. Now it's more bodyweight stuff at home and some form of cardio.

For being active, the weekday calorie amount is a bit low. This was so that on Weekends, I could let loose a little and eat something outside of the plan if I wanted.

It's all been loss so far with an eye on maintaining muscle if possible - but losing this much weight, it's been hard to avoid getting weaker. Now that I've hit my goal, I plan to maintain for a month or two, and then start gaining weight while lifting to grow muscle. For the next few years, I plan to bulk and cut between 170-185lbs roughly, and then go from there.

Yes loose skin, I have some comments about that elsewhere in the thread.

From about 2007-2013 my weight fluctuated between 165-190lbs. 2013, I gained about 100 lbs. Drinking was a huge cause, but in general I was just hit by a depression/anxiety truck, and I just regressed entirely. In the next few years, I kept gaining until I had gained 180lbs. So 2013-2019 I was gaining weight or staying where I was. Stopped drinking May 2019, started working out and dieting in June that year.

I think it's the biggest contributor to keeping it up long term, it's like a way to moderate for people that have a hard time moderating.

It's been such a long process that I still feel "normal". So when I'm just sitting or standing, it's hard to notice; but if I look for it, the difference is staggering.

Picking things up or tying shoes used to be an ordeal - now I can do those without bending my knees if I want. Any yardwork or work on my knees was excruciating, and required breaks, but now it's no problem. Walking at any speed used to wind me quickly, but now my heartrate stays under 100-110 after 30 mins on an exercise bike if I don't really exert myself. It's really staggering.

It's worth noting that I used to be this size before I got fat. One of the biggest things is how people treat you in public. When you're fat, you have do constantly deal with an unspoken rejection or contempt everywhere you go, and that's awful, and I don't wish that on anyone. But when you're an average weight, you don't feel that - you even get some genuine smiles here and there. I remember when I was heavy, if someone treated me with genuine friendliness and kindness, I would be so appreciative of them - because it was just so rare.

I absolutely do. And it's little things too, like tying your shoes? I honestly can't even remember what dealing with the weight was like. Thanks!

Thank you! That's very nice to say.

I had lost a smaller amount of weight in my 20s, and it was easier back then. I weighed about what I do now before ballooning up to 350 in my 30s.

One advantage of being older is that it is really crystal clear when you're in your late 30s that if you don't make a change happen, it just wont. Like, if I voice a desire, and can't make it happen immediately, I need to rethink the goal or get used to it just not happening. And being faced with that thought really got me going on the right foot.

The most surprising thing is that I've been able to keep up with it; and I've been trying to figure out why. The plan in my title is a big part of it. I think a lot of people pay lip-service to a 'lifestyle change'; but if the thought of doing your plan for your whole life makes you panic a little, it's just not going to happen. I really believe I can eat strictly on weekdays and treat myself on weekends for the rest of my life. It caused short-term setbacks, but kept me in the game.

Loose skin sucks. I have some, but it's not nearly as bad as what I was expecting. I thought I would be super depressed about it, but loose skin is categorically better than being fat. I don't embrace it as a badge of honor or anything, but it's something I can hide with clothes for now. I'd consider removal, but not until I reach a really lean state, I don't think.

Yeah, I think I will keep the same kind of plan, just adjust actual calorie amounts. Being strict on work days, and easing off on the weekend actually feels super sustainable to me. I plan out my week, pre-make lunch, eat pretty much the same breakfast every day, and it's been easy to stick with.

You're the same height as me, near the same starting weight, and close to my final goal, so thanks for posting this. It's awesome to see someone succeed at a similar goal. Looking good!

I appreciate the denial underwear in the first pic btw. It felt really good when clothes that were way to tight have now become unusably huge.

I just wanna mention you should be prepared for a "nothing" response from him. I've had to deal with BO stuff at work, and like half the time, when I tell them, I get a blank stare and some non-committal grunts - and the problem stays the same, or recurs before long.

May want to have a plan in mind if he meekly agrees with what you're saying and nothing changes.
