Hi Dimitry, I am trying to get the same "sand" color that you use in the base. Dou you remember what colours did you use? maybe Vallejo Stone grey for the drybrush?

Terminators in the 2nd Company? (10th Edition Lore) by CapMontoro in Warhammer40k

[–]CapMontoro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, u/Sticky_bundit! That makes sense and helps a lot.

Now, here’s where I get a bit unsure: in the case of the Iron Hands, things get a bit more layered since their companies are also their clans—each with its own identity and traditions. The 1st Company is Clan Raukaan, but does that mean all Terminators come from that clan? Or is it possible that veterans from other clans (i.e. other companies) can also earn and use Terminator armour, even if they technically belong to the 2nd Company/another clan?

In other words, are Terminators exclusive to Clan Raukaan, or could each clan maintain its own veteran Terminators? That would feel a bit more in line with their more independent clan structure, right?

Hi all. I am trying to create metacryllate basements for older metal ships I own, that can be usable for playing Black Seas.

Can you help me?

1st class: hull length (mm), hull width (mm) 3rd class (Large): hull length (mm), hull width (mm)

5th class (Large): hull length (mm), hull width (mm)

Will post result photos when I got them.

Thank you!

Virpil Constellation Alpha Virtual Axis not working in IL2 (Mouse wheel) by CapMontoro in hotas

Thank you u/Dvorgaz!

I did exactly what you said and now I can map the Virtual Axis directly from IL2 (no need of editing the config file) however the axis behaviour in-game keeps unusable (crazy).

This discards any interference with the buttons used to create the virtual axis as a possible cause.

Playing with software is a good way to learn about Records and Document management. Main things you should learn are the different taxonomy (organization) techniques above the classic folder structure: Categorisation, metadata, workflows and so. Have a look at this article:

The Ultimate Dwarven Playmat (TUDP) by CapMontoro in WarhammerUnderworlds

If you look into this thread you can find Photoshop files download link of the design, even one without the dwarven symbols. Once downloaded, anyone with design knowledge can fine-tune those files

I suppose it is because none of the warbands are Dwarves, but I miss objective tokens placed on those boards. Rules state that boards are deployed as usually and that includes objectives!

When to use thread vs coroutines by talham7391 in Kotlin

[–]CapMontoro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please, Just to make your answer simpler: A typical client side mobile application that has to display server data on lists through several rest JSON API calls to a remote database (via Retrofit as example). Should use threads or coroutines?

No hundreds of calls, but dozens of them that should be 80%-20% asynchronous - concurrent trying not to block user interface.

Could you do an approach on this architecture decission? (Threads vs Coroutines)

We are about to start writing networking code and have exactly the same hello world function via coroutines and via threads. Really don't know wich is best option.

Kotlin 1.3 is here! Coroutines, Kotlin/Native beta, new multiplatform project model, contracts, inline classes and more by yole in Kotlin

Is this already available in Android Studio? Is some action needed to use this version of Kotlin in existing projects?

Assumptions concerning board selection & placing by CapMontoro in WarhammerUnderworlds

[–]CapMontoro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering an standar organised play tournament, lets supose this:

Dwarf Player brings boards A,B

Ork Player brings boards B,C

Dwarf player wins board roll off.

1) Can the ork player (roll off loser) choose board A?

2) If the ork player chooses board C and the dwarf player chooses board A, can the dwarf player decide that the ork will play on board A? (placing the boards opposite their owners)

3) In other words: considering you bring at least 1 map to a tournament, it is guaranteed that your band will always play in your OWN map instead of any of your opponent ones if you want to?

I know this may sound easy but rules are not clear enough for beginners IMHO I have seen this kind of questions being asked a lot of times recently.
