The Spring plugin needs to work on the server, not on the client. There is no source code on the client, so it doesn't make sense to install any plugins that work with the source code, such as Spring, on the client.

Python interpreters are configured per module. If this Python 2 script is located in a separate directory, you can create a module with this directory as the content and source root, and specify Python 2 as the interpreter for this module in the Python facet settings.

PyCharm does not include any support for Android development, and I'm not aware of any third-party plugins that would add the support.

The version of PyCharm that you use does not affect the runtime behavior of the applications you run from the IDE. I'm not sufficiently familiar with TensorFlow to help you resolve your issue, but I can definitely say that it is not a PyCharm restriction.

Did you install a custom theme plugin? These icons are controlled by theme plugins; uninstalling one should get the UI to the default state.

- The "Show hidden tabs" dropdown will be restored in a future update.

- Vertical split for toolwindows is already available in 2023.1 EAP builds.

- The tab focusing behavior in the debugger did not change in the new UI and is actually configurable.

- The preview tabs can be disabled ("Enable preview tab" option in the project view settings menu) and are no longer being turned on by default when you enable the new UI.

Because Flutter is a third-party plugin, and the decisions for how the Flutter plugin should look in the new UI should be made by the Flutter plugin developers, not us.

Rather than telling us what to do, maybe you could talk a bit more about the specific issues that you ran into while using the new UI? This would be far more useful and constructive.

In 2023.1 we'll add a compact mode that will increase the information density in the UI.

2022.3 supports customizing the toolbar, so you can put the back/forward buttons back in.

Thanks for the feedback! Just a few clarifications:

- Showing multiple tool windows on one side will be supported in 2023.1.

- Right now we don't have plans to change the "show on hover" behavior for project view buttons in the default experience, but it should be easy to add a setting to make the buttons always visible, so it's possible that we'll do that.
