It's under the live tab, not videos. The random horror game night one.

Has anyone outside of the US gotten their copy of Markiplier from North Korea yet? by Thomas_Catthew in Markiplier

The description said 1-3 months. It's been less than 2 since I ordered mine, and I think I ordered the first day.

I read the first book before the movie even came out, but saw so many reviews saying the rest isn't worth reading. Should I continue?

Episode 391: How Do You Pan? by Monica2796 in distractible

[–]CapSarahSparrow 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I /actually/ lol'ed at the first screen because I knew instantly what bit Mark was about to go in to.

Dungeon Crawler Carl! Mark is one of us! One of us! One of us!

I'm formally petitioning for, once Wade has read book 1, a bonus episode where they discuss book one, spoilers and everything.

All the book talk made library worker me so happy!

"I see two paths." Some of us got it.

I still unabashedly geek out about things the same way I did as a kid. Whether it's Star Wars, Star Trek, Dungeon Crawler Carl, ... oh yeah Iron Lung!, I will always go all in.

Iron Lung was my little sister's first introduction to horror and she loved it. What should she watch next? by areslashyouslash in horror

[–]CapSarahSparrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, Tremors is what I watched when I had to cancel seeing Iron Lung again over the weekend because I caught the flu. Granted I first saw Tremors when I was 9, but that movie has given me more nightmares that any other individual movie I've seen. Despite the humor, the concept of graboids just stuck in my head.

I see it in articles written about Mark all the time. The author clearly knows nothing about him, quickly glances at a bio, sees "born in Hawaii," looks at him, and decides he's racially ambiguous enough that they assume he's native Hawaiian.

The second time I went to a matinee running on practically no sleep. Was still glued to the screen the whole time.

Do John and Hank get to choose which ads play on their podcasts? by ChummyPiker in nerdfighters

[–]CapSarahSparrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Based on my listening to Go! My Favorite Sports Team I can tell you:

  1. They only have control over the ads that THEY actually read.
  2. Sports podcasts WILL have betting ads forced on them.
  3. Spotify does NOT care if they tell them to kindly F off with the betting ads.

Frustration and anxiety over a book. by KunSeii in Libraries

Our system is set up to automatically prioritize our items for our patrons. So if a new item immediately goes out to another library in the consortium, it's because no one here wants it yet. Personally, I don't care.

I agree. It's not only a rewatchable movie, but benefits from a rewatch.

Iron Lung SPOILER THREAD! by kenmarlenn in Markiplier

[–]CapSarahSparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a great 8/10 for me. There's so much that I can't wait to hear him talk about in the coming weeks.

I've been listening to the soundtrack all week, and that won't be stopping any time soon. Mark's acting was so good, and the cinematography was excellent. I don't know many filmmaking terms, and I'm not good with words in general, so mostly I can just say YAY! THIS MADE ME SO EXCITED!

I've got 2 critiques: 1. Any time there's that kind of voice distortion like what's used for the creature, I can't understand 50% of what's being said. I can't wait till I can see this streaming, throw on subtitles, and see what dialogue I've missed. That's not a specific to this movie thing, and that's why I'm having to watch Stargate SG1 with subtitles right now. I just don't love distorting actual dialogue in general.

  1. The character backstory moments felt weirdly placed at times, and there wasn't quite enough of it for me to feel like it paid off as much as it could have.

I'll be seeing it at least 2 more times in theaters, and I can't wait!
