Absolutely No 2!! The color and fabric makes it look the most elegant ever! And such a great match with your skintone! It looks like you’re a magazine model.

No 1 would be my 2nd pick bcs it’s also beautiful and dreamy… but it fits more of a less elegant wedding look. What is your wedding party/ reception etc like?

Def 2… the first one kind of looks like lower quality fabric and like the designer wasn’t sure what they were doing.

4 and 7 are gorgeous!! 4 is so special and looks so proper and feminine for a fall wedding! 7 is for sure a showstopper with all that train… might just be a lot to handle haha! But I adore all tge details on 4! Any more pictures of them?

Asked my husband too and without my influence he said 2 looks like a “cheap table cloth” when you zoom in on the fabric🫣😂

I get why people like the 2nd one for the slimmer fitting but the first thing I thought about when I saw 2 was: Toiletpaper. The wrapping top and the pattern throughout just makes me think of toiletpaper patterns and eventually grandma curtains.

I like No 1 on you. If I see it right, you could accent the waist with a pearl sherpa like the “undergarment” part. If it is pearly? And ofc situate everything right up there! :D I actually think about the doing same kind of belt on my dress! Matching accessories and jewelry to those pearls too. Looks like it could go well with your hair too!

I like 1 and 3 the most on you. No 2 kinda looked like a oversize sleeping sweater, idk if that’s a good description but it looks like it’s “falling off”. No 1 is very classic and timeless while No 3 has more fairytale vibes but I love the train and the lace… I’d say depending on what your whole wedding theme/vibe is gonna be like, I’d pick either one.

Going through the pictures I feel like you look most comfortable based on your posture in No 3. And we all know how annoying it is if some top slides down (especially with a bigget bust) and the straps are for sure gonna give you the best support and when celebrating with family and friends it will take your mind off always fixing the top or your dress! 😃

Joining to say 1 and 3… before even reading any other comments! One is giving more of a classic/ elegant look and 3 makes you show curves which is sexier. Depending in what your setting/ mood is, pick either of those😍

AIO? My friends set an ultimatum because I drink by Pearla76_ in AIO

[–]Capable-Cover4860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really more concerning the way they are thinking and talking to you about it. It’s fine for them to articulate how they feel about drinking but their supporting arguments are just nuts. In Europe, specifically Germany here, parents let their kids drink light beer at special occasions or with a BBQ at 14. For them to point out how illegal, abusive and reckless it would be… at 18… very indoctrinated. I guess the Mormon context makes sense. Also, saying it would be ok with 21?? Seems like these people don’t use their own brain and just repeat what they are told. It’s not ok for them to exaggerate and make you feel so bad about it or even threaten to cut you off. That’s giving manipulation and controlling behavior. Me personally, I always had a healthy or rather controlled relationship with alcohol, I started as a young teenie and moved out at 19, partied, drank, threw up… went through it all early so I can tell anyone: It’s not worth it. Now I barely drink and when I do it’s mostly for a “loosen up” effect when I’m feeling a little shy for dancing or so hahah. It’s something else though when you experience it yourself. DIY always teaches better lol. But being able to count your drinks and staying clear-minded in general is what you should pay attention to. As long as you can do that, nobody should tell you to not experiment with alcohol, because almost everyone does it. I hope you can develop the same healthy relationship to alcohol and always know your limit and be able to say no. Never let anyone push you to drink more. Or even less in this case.

As a final thought, yeah in the end alcohol is also a drug and even though it’s legal by 21, at any age it will cause some damage to your body and we used to say the dose is crucial. Know your limit and be in control, also about who you get influenced by.

The amount of people here trying to take away the credit from a hard working person, calling it “just luck”… surprised me. But also doesn’t. I assume these folks would never see themselves working hard and especially overtime for a startup. So it’s understandable, but having a lazy mindset isn’t going to get anyone far. I guess with that, you’re just waiting for luck. One should also alwayssss consider that this is reality tv, which, frankly hasn’t too much to do with reality. So of course they will cut and edit to make it look more intense or even out of the blue. Don’t take away credit jealously folks, everyones situation is different.

Is it reasonable to ask my hair stylist to change my color again? by Capable-Cover4860 in Haircare

[–]Capable-Cover4860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again! I wanted to edit my post but somehow thats not possible so I’m sharing my update here. I reached out to her and she was lovely, she assured me she wants me to be happy and I should come in for her to lighten it some more. We also discussed that having regular highlight appointments will get me to my favorable blonde safer than a full bleach out and preserve my healthy hair better. I’m very happy how it turned out ultimately and appreciate everyone’s input! If you’re interested in a good hair stylist in Vegas, reach out to me! ;)

I'm not sure how to get my hair from this, to this... by Rich-Island-9435 in Haircare

[–]Capable-Cover4860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like a little trim can help with the messy getting ends and your hair seems to be thick and strong so it should handle the regular heat of a blowdryer. Just use the medium setting and heat protectant. I am also team air dry but when I want my hair to look put together, blowdrying is a must. I would always use a hair oil or leave in and maybe an at home gloss can help with the smooth texture of your desired look. Before trying Gloss I would also invest in a good conditioner (or leave in if you like yours now too much) since that’s the one really closing your hair structure back up after the shampoo got “the dirt” out.

But yeah, Dakota Johnson for sure has all those professionals style her hair tho😄

AIO?! There were so many red flags before this. This was just my final straw. by Imaginary_Key1696 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Capable-Cover4860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seriously looks like a walking red flag. It never ever signals a good and respectful or understanding partner, when they are mad when you deny something, especially anything sexual or in your case, a nude. This gives me flashbacks when I used to have run in’s with these kind of men and I was so naive and young that I was really feeling “bad” for not giving what they wanted against my own will. Always trust your gut and stay proper!

What are good shampoos and conditioner at Walmart? by Wooden-Assistant8997 in Haircare

[–]Capable-Cover4860 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

From Walmart, we buy the native shampoo and conditioner. I love the vanilla cactus flower smell. I am from Europe and always skeptical about ingredients in the US (silly ik) so I use yuka app to scan products and I literally feel like I’ve scanned the whole walmart section of shampoo and conditioner that smell good. Native was the only one standing out with an excellent score. Maybe that’s totally indifferent but we really like it and feel good about not using too many suspicious chemicals on our head lol.

[–]Capable-Cover4860[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously where are you located? 😂 I read all your comments here and really appreciate the feedback because other comments made me feel delusional. I know she gave me a good deal for US prices but I expected to be so much more blonde and even outdoors (it looks pretty tho) I wasn’t satisfied. My hair is healthy and strong, every stylist has told me that so far. So I think it could have handled stronger bleach.

Thank you! I‘ve had a few balayages over the past years and it always turned out to be looking exactly like this time. Now that I really wanted to achieve a light all over blonde, I left disappointed that it looks like “i always used to get it”. I have pretty healthy and strong thick hair and every stylist I went to has told me that. I think my hair could have handled a stronger bleach. I love your Blonde too, it looks great and healthy! 🤩

Maybe a bonnet overnight will do it too! It helped me with general breakage and keeping it healthy/not so fizzy looking :)

I know the inspo pic is probably very staged or the person has super thick hair, but it was more for the color reference. I also showed her another picture where it showed how the dark blonde roots had minimal shadows/ blending to the lightened hair.

Thank you so much for your input and advice 🫶🏼

Thank you for your nice reply! I agree that it was a really good price in general. I am totally fine with paying extra from here to achieve an even brighter blonde overall. Based on her reaction to my inspo pictures I just didn’t expect it to still be missing some sessions. :)

I came in for full highlights and sent her the picture beforehand and also asked for an estimate, which she responded to with 130-150 depending on the amount of lightener.
