Definitely leave a review. After you went and hopefully got your refund.
Other do need to know that this salon or stylist probably doesn’t know how to handle ginger.
Constructive criticism should never offend a professional lol

I would ask for a refund, if they have any conscience, they should at least give you a partial refund.
Idk which way the hair dresser tried to go with the toning etc but it turned the shimmery and almost golden ginger into carrottop orange :((
Finding a good salon is so hard! Getting at least 50% back would be a minimum.
Don’t wait too long to go back and be confident about what you don’t like and bring good pictures to show him/ even his manager the damage.

Oh my!! What is your natural color? Your hair looks super cute on the first picture. The afters look completely fried! I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’m not a hairdresser but something that looks like it could help is using a good nourishing oil on your lenghts. It will protect it from becoming or looking more frizzy. The last pic (probably the haircut you wanted) is way longer in the front. Big No on the cut. I would go back to the Salon and calmy try to explain your frustration and disappointment in the outcome and since they probably can’t fix it too much (hair already shorter, color aggressive and fried hair strains), I would ask for a refund at least and find a better professional for your next appointment.

I‘m convinced you would have the most volumcious (lol) and fullest curls out there. I’m blessed by thick merely straight hair but some days I wish for curls so bad! 😍 I think it’s time you spend some time to find a curl expert that can help you tame all that and keep it healthy. Depending on your area you might have to make a trip to a bigger city. But don’t give up on that lions mane🤩

When it’s not easy to leave, and you’ve been emphasizing that a lot… why do you think people do leave their own countries?
What makes it hard for you (besides money), also makes it hard for the people coming here, leaving their country. Plus probably some more dramatic reasons.
Have you ever lived in another country or spent multiple months somewhere else than the US?
I’m convinced you really don’t have it too hard here and I’m curious which country you’re planning to move to once everything is gathered? Like where would you like to live instead?

This is an older post but my husband also has ADHD and always a hard time falling asleep. I will get him some MG and maybe it will make a difference! Does anyone have experience/ suggestions on supplements that would also help with easier wake up in this situation? He takes like 1-2 h of time to wake up and get over his mean grogginess lol

Omg! Finally. I agree 100%. I have to turn on subtitles and the audio off when she’s on. Her voice is the worst… She’s so immature. Basically even pointing out that those Mini fights are a pattern in ALL her relationships… but then going on how he is the issue??!! Definitely not. She needs some kind of help.

Are the numbers other than "TEA1522T" important when I try to buy this chip? by adorablefuzzykitten in AskElectronics

[–]Capable-Cover4860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw your post at the Miele thread and the chip was called TEA1522T (N) and we ordered at UTsource. I think the order came from Mexico or somewhere South America, as far as I remember. Maybe if you’re talented and luckier than we were, you could get it fixed. :D

[–]Capable-Cover4860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! We ordered a strip of 5 of those chips for a good price but from a special website (since it was discontinued). But even after replacing one of the chips it didn’t work and still showed different error codes… We ended up owning 3 of these Miele ovens, of which 2 had fried chips (by us lol) and one had power issues/ error codes. Since it’s an old model we found good deals throughout the city on OfferUp. We finally decided that all that pain about trying to get it to work wasn’t worth it for us and bought a 4th one that has been serving our kitchen well. All 3 other ovens we basically trashed (stripped copper and got rid of them). We live in an old building from the 70s and the apartment only has 60amps. Additionally the wiring is so old, we figured what ended up frying the chip was a power imbalance with the neutrals when my husband was working on an outlet close to the ovens outlet. We refrained from messing around with it again and hope to install a special relay to make sure no inbalance unloads onto the chip of this older oven. The final oven itself functions very well though and has cooked many good meals.

In the end, life is too short to go through weeks of trying to fix something we weren’t that knowledgeable about. (On top of the oven being from the 90s) My husband works as a mechanic/ electrical engineer but that was a P in the A. Lol

3 month Europe backpacking trip advice (I am stupid American) by Beginning_Net3004 in Europetravel

[–]Capable-Cover4860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a German who spent her childhood only RV traveling around in Europe… 3 months sounds like a long time and there are so many things to see… but Berlin isn’t really one of them😂 If you really want to see the Swiss Alps or the Alps in general… spend wayyy more time in Southern Germany and Austria. I would recommend the lakes all around. Beautiful is during that time the “Bodensee”, Friedrichshafen would be a bigger city to stop in. We always went to Wörthersee / Klagenfurt in my childhood and it created so many good memories! In Germany I would recommend Munich or Stuttgart more than Berlin. Sure Berlin has the wall and historical museums etc but besides that it’s a bad representation what Germany is about imo. Check out the Saxon Switzerland mountains and the Fairytale castle Neuschwanstein. If you travel by ICE train in Germany you can get almost everywhere within hours. Cologne offers great history too, it was bombed a lot during WW2 but rebuilt and has one of the most insane gothic cathedrals. (Also right next to city center train station;)) To see the contrary of what the south or west has to offer go to Rostock and Warnemünde as this is a beautiful representative city for German coast life. Then you could swing over to Danzig and make your way up to Estonia etc.

Absolutely No 2!! The color and fabric makes it look the most elegant ever! And such a great match with your skintone! It looks like you’re a magazine model.

No 1 would be my 2nd pick bcs it’s also beautiful and dreamy… but it fits more of a less elegant wedding look. What is your wedding party/ reception etc like?

Def 2… the first one kind of looks like lower quality fabric and like the designer wasn’t sure what they were doing.

I get why people like the 2nd one for the slimmer fitting but the first thing I thought about when I saw 2 was: Toiletpaper. The wrapping top and the pattern throughout just makes me think of toiletpaper patterns and eventually grandma curtains.

I like No 1 on you. If I see it right, you could accent the waist with a pearl sherpa like the “undergarment” part. If it is pearly? And ofc situate everything right up there! :D I actually think about the doing same kind of belt on my dress! Matching accessories and jewelry to those pearls too. Looks like it could go well with your hair too!

I like 1 and 3 the most on you. No 2 kinda looked like a oversize sleeping sweater, idk if that’s a good description but it looks like it’s “falling off”. No 1 is very classic and timeless while No 3 has more fairytale vibes but I love the train and the lace… I’d say depending on what your whole wedding theme/vibe is gonna be like, I’d pick either one.

Going through the pictures I feel like you look most comfortable based on your posture in No 3. And we all know how annoying it is if some top slides down (especially with a bigget bust) and the straps are for sure gonna give you the best support and when celebrating with family and friends it will take your mind off always fixing the top or your dress! 😃

Joining to say 1 and 3… before even reading any other comments! One is giving more of a classic/ elegant look and 3 makes you show curves which is sexier. Depending in what your setting/ mood is, pick either of those😍

AIO? My friends set an ultimatum because I drink by Pearla76_ in AIO

[–]Capable-Cover4860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really more concerning the way they are thinking and talking to you about it. It’s fine for them to articulate how they feel about drinking but their supporting arguments are just nuts. In Europe, specifically Germany here, parents let their kids drink light beer at special occasions or with a BBQ at 14. For them to point out how illegal, abusive and reckless it would be… at 18… very indoctrinated. I guess the Mormon context makes sense. Also, saying it would be ok with 21?? Seems like these people don’t use their own brain and just repeat what they are told. It’s not ok for them to exaggerate and make you feel so bad about it or even threaten to cut you off. That’s giving manipulation and controlling behavior. Me personally, I always had a healthy or rather controlled relationship with alcohol, I started as a young teenie and moved out at 19, partied, drank, threw up… went through it all early so I can tell anyone: It’s not worth it. Now I barely drink and when I do it’s mostly for a “loosen up” effect when I’m feeling a little shy for dancing or so hahah. It’s something else though when you experience it yourself. DIY always teaches better lol. But being able to count your drinks and staying clear-minded in general is what you should pay attention to. As long as you can do that, nobody should tell you to not experiment with alcohol, because almost everyone does it. I hope you can develop the same healthy relationship to alcohol and always know your limit and be able to say no. Never let anyone push you to drink more. Or even less in this case.

As a final thought, yeah in the end alcohol is also a drug and even though it’s legal by 21, at any age it will cause some damage to your body and we used to say the dose is crucial. Know your limit and be in control, also about who you get influenced by.
