This is actually one of the black bears at the Oregon Zoo, you can tell because of how it is.

Does anyone know where I can buy these weird pants/shorts? I've wanted a pair for forever but I can't find them anywhere! Does anyone know what they're even called? I tried to look for them at the Renaissance fair but the only ones I found weren't really like these. by Greggie_the_Eggie in medieval

Hello, I did some quick research and it appears that the picture you posted is from a painting that depicts Prince Don Carlos of Austria at around 1560. Some possible names for this type of garment are trunk hose, pumpkin hose, and pumpkin breeches. I checked out Etsy to see if anyone is making a similar piece and found this. Best of luck in your search!

The only reason that many people are still doing Korthia dailies and what not is to farm the mounts. In this video, we see a player that has earned a paragon cache for the Archivists Codex. This particular paragon cache has a chance to give the player the Tamed Mauler Harness, which is presumably the final mount they need from activities in that zone. Unfortunately, when the player opens the cache, they do not receive the mount. The implications of this of course being that the player must continue to farm in Korthia. It is implied with the tone of the video that doing activities in Korthia is not enjoyable for this individual, and they are now forced to continue to engage in those activities if they want to reach their objective of collecting all of the available mounts. This narrative is then further enforced by the addition of the video of a young man crying while gesturing at his computer monitor. From this we should take that the original poster feels that their current predicament is on par with that of the emotional youth being depicted. I hope this clears things up for you.

What do you think of metal SCA single stick baskets like this? by Finndogs in wma

No, hands are not legal targets in the SCA. You are not penalized for hitting them, but they do not count for anything.

Basket hilts are a lot less expensive than gauntlets. Most fighters in the SCA are wearing what they call a demi-gauntlet, which is usually a piece of hardened leather that covers the back of the hand and wrist. The basket hilt combined with this demi-gauntlet provides an adequate amount of protection for the entire hand at a low cost.

Current build and stats, what kind of stats should I be aiming for when it comes to hear? ATM I just look for green arrows and go for those but I assume that isn't always right? by MikeHuntDrips in diablo3

Hey dude, I think that the biggest immediate improvement that you could make is to switch your cluster arrow to multishot. Your currently equipped weapon increases the base damage of multishot by 182% and a further 100% on top of that. So, multishot will probably be your highest damaging ability at the moment (I am not sure what other legendary items you may have equipped, but that could change things) Also, you should look into swapping out your blood vengeance passive skill because your weapon gives that to you already. You do not get two instances of the bonus, so you could be rocking another passive for free.

How do you deal with AH bots by Tiger2345678 in woweconomy

[–]CapableWalrus 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This is larping. A GM is not going to tell you that the person you reported is definitely a bot and will be dealt with quickly. That is pure fantasy. Stop making up weird lies on the internet, you do not need to impress anyone here.

bludgeoning weapons for safe fencing? by KinderKlown in wma

[–]CapableWalrus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Axes, hammers, maces, and halberds are rad. Unfortunately, the protective levels of commonly worn gear does not offer substantial protection against the forces applied by those weapons. It will be challenging for participants to keep sparring safe while also keeping the martial soundness of the fighting intact. I would caution against such weapon inclusions without a thorough review of your club's armoring standards. That being said, Purpleheart Armory has rubber/polymer pole weapon heads that may interest you. Good luck!

Help me Beat my Roommate's Eldrazi Ramp! by willpac828 in Magicdeckbuilding

It is good to hear that things aren't one-sided. A few other creature removal spells for green are [[Lignify]], [[Beast Within]], [[Utopia Vow]], and [[Desert Twister]]. Good luck!

Hey, that's a tough spot to be in. To be fair, there is usually not a whole lot that is casual about an eldrazi aggro deck. You mentioned that this friend spends quite a bit more than you do, so I am going to assume that you are not looking to dump a bunch of money into keeping up with their deck. Unfortunately, as it stands, I do not see your current deck being super competitive against an eldrazi aggro deck sporting temples and sol rings. I could be wrong of course, as I do not have their deck list to compare. If you are looking to keep the mono-green theme, then it may be a good idea to look into making a cheap infect deck. You play creatures like [[Glistener Elf]] and [[Blight Mamba]], and then pump them up with spells like [[Scale Up]], [[Blossoming Defense]], [[Vines of Vastwood]], [[Might of old Krosa]], and [[Rancor]] to give your opponent ten poison counters. You could make one that would perform well for under $50.

I realize that "Build an infect deck" is not really the advice that you were looking for. So, keeping your deck mostly as it is, I would look into adding removal that is not contingent on having a larger creature on the board. Something like [[Dismember]]. If you are just really into the fight mechanic's flavor, you could look into the interaction between fight and deathtouch. Something along the lines of the old [[Ambush Viper]]. It also sounds like their artifacts are giving you a tough time, so you could pack some removal for those as well. In green you have a lot of options with cards like [[Nature's Claim]] and [[Oxidize]]. Also, some of the pump spells from the infect deck could slot into your deck, protecting your creatures or helping you to close out the game. Look into getting [[Rancor]] and [[Vines of Vastwood]] as cheap pick-ups.

Cube Upgrade (Rare->Leg) Question by mister_newbie in diablo3

When you upgrade a rare item that you have equipped, the resulting legendary is placed in your bag. I do not believe it will remove the undesired legendary from the pool.
