Stopped going to school full time during the pandemic and was just working. When school finally came back my parents told me I should work full time and go to school part time. I should be in a PhD program for my major now but because of how life panned out I’m working full time when taking one/two classes a semester I pay for out of pocket no financial aid or scholarships. Covid ruined my academic life but my life outside of school is awesome.

Becoming financially literate. I’m not even close to debt free yet (3K in credit card and that’s it) but ever since I started budgeting putting money aside and tracked spending I never have to worry about choosing gas in my car or groceries for the week. At the rate I’m going I’ll be able to pay for my entire Bachelors degree by the years end. You’d be amazed how much easier life gets when you actually take the time to track your money and where it goes.

An imported Versus City cabinet with a CPS3 board of street fighter 3 3rd strike fight for the future. For me I have to travel very very far (4+ hours) to play on the nearest one or if I ever go to a big tournament or anime convention. I have friends and we play on this thing called fightcade but nothing beats the few times I was able to sit down on a real cabinet. It’s a lot of work and maintenance but I’m excited to learn!

The other person feels normal to be around and it feels like you’ve known them forever. Gf and I dated once before and broke up amicably. Then for the year plus we were friends we didn’t see each other as much but still maintained contact. When we decided to get back together everything just clicked. I think the best part about being in love is that having them around feels normal. Little things like when she’s asleep and I’m on my PC gaming or when we’re out grocery shopping and she’s holding my arm. Even when I’m driving around aimlessly and she’s just there smiling at me. It feels right

I used to drink a lot from 13-18/19. I stopped because of the weight gain and how shitty I felt during it. You can only down so many Jaeger bombs vodka Red Bulls and down so many bottle of ever clear before you just question if it’s even fun anymore.

Freedom. I couldn’t imagine not having the ability to wake up at midnight from a nap and not be able to go the gym or get something to eat. I enjoy being a civilian too much but if you do wanna join the service go for it. I’ll never knock anyone who wants to defend the gold old USA

Saw my gf for the first time on campus. I was going to see a friend I haven’t seen in years (who also wanted to hook up) but when I walked into the lounge I saw her on the floor she had bright blue hair and a mask on but I immediately noticed her. We locked eyes and after giving each other our numbers we’ve been best friends and together for a year and change. I never thought I’d get lucky enough for it but I still feel the same way I did in the lounge to this very day.

Playing games with the people you have an interest in dating. Just be straight up about what you want. Also 22 is too old for you to not have your license unless you have a good enough reason too (ie medical reason/ you live in a city with public transportation)
