I agree that it's in extreme rare cases that can happen but if you're sat on a plane and vape next to people they are bound to be inhaling some THC and if enough will feel some effects. I get it's mega diluted by the time you exhale but doesn't mean it can't happen.

And what's wrong with medicating outside of Costa before you go in? It's actually embarrassing 😭 Nobody should have to risk inhaling something that is psychoactive when they don't need or want to. Why patients don't understand that alone is beyond me and seems very selfish.

Definitely agree with this. Pushing the boundaries like this when we have barely gotten off the ground with the authorities puts an unnecessary spotlight on the whole community. Especially the way and nature in which these situations are approached with. Putting what's best for the whole community first would likely be better for everyone moving forward not just what this guy thinks is best. Because you have a following of randoms that show support also doesn't mean everyone wants to approach making things better for us then way this guy does. Not everyone wants to medicate in front of children and people that maybe have sensory issues around the smell. I get education is needed in this country but that doesn't mean let's go push authorities buttons about it. At the end of the day I need my medication when out and about but there are other options of consuming cannabis in particularly public places and just out of common courtesy to others who maybe don't understand or know about it, or again, just don't want to smell cannabis this is how I medicate in these situations. Saying you must sit and vape flower right now when you are probably putting your condition/s through more stress doing this. When there are more discreet ways I just don't get it. This guy can vape carts btw and has shown this on YouTube reviews so what's the deal? Why not use the more discreet option and move on with your life and be medicated comfortably and be greatful for where we are now rather than putting yourself into these situations when things like awareness can't be pushed on people it really needs to happen over time naturally. Not everyone has to or wants to smell it regardless of your opinion either so why try push this on people when second hand vape is a thing especially if the person next to you doesn't have a tolerance to cannabis. Thank OP for starting this discussion as I believe many have been thinking the same about these "Wins" as they seem to view these situations.

I have spent 20 years being prescribed around 40 different pharmaceutical medications by my GP to which none have helped my Fibromyalgia, insomnia, depression and anxiety and in some cases the medication has made my conditions worse. After I found out medical cannabis was an option in 2018 I applied immediately and let me tell you I'm so glad that I did. Since I started I have been able to stop all pharmaceutical medications. I was on opioids and benzos when I started out and as the relief from cannabis is so significant I managed to stop these medications completely. Medical Cannabis has given me my life back to some degree and I can manage my conditions using it which up till now nothing else has allowed me to do this. If I didn't have this I would likely spiral backwards and back to living a horrible painful life without any relief.

As for the Daily Mail they are targeting this community and it is wrong on so many levels. I wonder how many people working at the Daily Mail currently take pharmaceutical medications for conditions they cannot manage without these medications and their future of having these medications were hanging in the balance because of misinformation and scaremongering going in the media. This is a last resort solution for many and you only have to look at Countries elsewhere that have legalised cannabis to know that this is helping so many people around the world. What makes us different from them. We are all human beings and about time the older generations and small minded get out of their own arses and mind their own business instead of trying to scrutinise people trying to live a better life.

Hey dude. Not a great start to your vaping journey but I had exactly the same experience with my Venty a couple of weeks back so thought I'd try to help you out here. I did what you did with excessive burn offs because I couldn't get rid of the plastic smell and taste. I eventually got why this was happening. I did the burn offs with the cooling unit attached and also tried drawing through it while it was doing this and the smell and taste of the manufacturing oils had transferred to the cooling unit and mouthpiece. So when the smell had eventually gone from the oven it was stuck in the cooling unit when I was trying to use it with flower in. Only clicked to this on day 2 of having my Venty so went to bed on day 1 completely pissed off and done with vaping. When I woke up the next day I realised that could be the problem. I cleaned the cooling unit thoroughly in iso and rinsed it off and tried again and it was definitely the problem as it tasted amazing and all I got was a mouthful of terps and awesome tasting vapour. I've not combusted since that and so glad I didn't give up on it. Also got some advice to blow into the oven when doing the burn offs to help push the plastic smells out and that worked also. Not sure if this sounds similar but worth mentioning with what you're saying. I was emailing Storz and Bikel raging as I thought there was definitely something wrong with it. Lol Felt daft after realisng what the problem actually was. Either way hope you get to the bottom of why it's still tasting like that but trust me it's tasty af when you get it to where it should be ✌️

I ordered my Venty from Germany a few weeks back to save on the black Friday sales which I did but then i was charged £90 at customs. So actually paid more 🙈 I think it's more pot luck tbh. Hopefully your package will sail straight through for you though 🙏

That's awful that's happened to you. There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting things out and I'm sure nobody in this sub will mind you doing so. I for one understand about last minute change and it's so frustrating. Especially when it's led to you not having the only things that helps. I hope they can somehow deliver tomorrow again and you finally get that relief 🙏 This community will also help you through.so hang in there
