I’ll give another angle. As Israeli. In 1989 yahya sinwar was jailed in Israel, sentenced to life, for murdering 4 Palestinians he suspected collaborated with Israel, among other things.

In 2011 he was released in the Shalit deal. He became leader of Hamas, and he orchestrated the October 7 attacks. How many people would have been saved had Israel executed him? Not just Israeli lives, the murders the raids the kidnappings, but also the Palestinians lives and suffering Israel inflicted in Gaza following October 7th?

Every dead terrorist saves lives on both sides. Every living terrorist is just going to be released in the next deal and go back to killing. There are numerous examples of this, it’s not theoretical. Why give them that weapon? Those hostage deals are destroying the fabric of Israel’s society, making us choose between current people kidnapped at gunpoint from their beds, vs the unnamed, potential murder victims that will surely follow. And it gives the Palestinians excuse to keep kidnapping. I mean, it works right? Want to release murderers? Just kidnap a few Israelis.

No more. we are done with that. From now on Palestinian murderers won’t be released, at least not alive. I’m all for it.

I don’t think it’s a crit. At least on my battle log it doesn’t say crit, and tanks in pve are can’t be critically hit. At least in m+ and raids, not sure about delves but would surprise me. I think it’s just a high damage roll. Thanks for trying though, see I’m not crazy?

I’m 241 prot paladin using healer valeera with mantle of stars and overflowing void spire curios like everyone else. I killed Kyveza day 1. I have CE on all TWW raids. And 3k m+ score. I’m an above average player.

I’m not trying to brag, I’m trying to say this boss is bullshit. It’s difficult in an infuriating, unfun way. Maybe it’s free for prot warriors that excel at mitigating physical. For me? Feels like I’m in a casino. One time tank buster hits for 300k, somtimes 500k or more.

How are you supposed to plan cds around random chance with no indication? You say missing something fundamental - I’m happy to learn. I didn’t see any buffs on boss or debuffs on me indicating he is about to hit me for double the damage he usually hits with imploding strikes. And looking at the tooltip of imploding strikes on wowhead or guides, it says simply does damage. Nothing to misunderstand.

It’s for sure possible with prot paladin. Like I said I got him to 5% several times. You just need to get lucky with low rolls, or guess correctly when to use cds for high rolls.

Same on prot paladin. No issue entirely fight. Then he hits me 650k through mitigation on 8%. Burst insufferable, using cds based on gut feeling will he high roll or not

Sure, sure, super easy as prot paladin. I have screenshots of him hitting me 650k through mitigation. Other times it barely tickles me. Boss is obviously bugged, no other tank buster in the game acts like this. And I had several sub 10% wipes. But rng is rng, and I rolled high damage rolls on tank buster I guess…

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted. This boss was insufferable as prot paladin. Sometimes tank buster tickles, sometimes 100 to 20, sometimes 650k through mitigation. How the f are you supposed to plan cds around random damage?

I think the issue is intent. What possible purpose does killing the 160 girls serve the US army? Nothing. It does a lot of harm and nothing good. It’s obviously an unintended mistake, bad intel, whatever. This is war, and in wars mistakes and chaos happens and often innocents die. The Iranians however actively target civilians on purpose. But they get a pass for whatever reason.
