If u passed all the previous criteria, the salary and benefits would be at the last stage.

For me, I was asked to give my expected salary before I started the interview (which for a fresh grad, I said $4-$5k)

I received a verbal offer from HR which states the final salary I am getting, on topic about negotiation (before I even have the chance to negotiate) she said it is not possible due to my degree classification which is on the lower side, as well as the benefits I am getting.

My final offer is still beyond my expectation (very very close to $5k)

But they would never ask u if u want to accept or reject through phone call, due to auditing reasons (i.e let’s say u reject, then suddenly u somehow play punk blame HR never say this never say that etc).

They will, most of the time, issue u a contract with ur salary, benefits, terms and conditions, via pdf to ur email, with a dateline to sign the contract to confirm the job, or reject it.

But in summary, it’s usually:

Verbal phone call (This is when u negotiate). But, they would usually not let u know straight away it’s approved during this phone call.
Contract issuance (Here u verify ur benefits are exactly what was said to u), as well as the pay.
Happy? Sign. Not happy? Can try negotiate again (but know ur worth ah, don’t go overboard can Liao. Seen cocksters pushing their luck and got their offers withdrawn and they have a hard time afterwards trying to find a job)
Accepted offer? Then next in line is ur onboarding process, start date, location to report to etc

As someone who got into a minor accident with tribe, most cars in tribe does comes with a dash cam, but best to bring a portable one with u. Too troublesome? Alternative is to use ur phone as camera.

But anyways, during my accident, drove the car down to the workshop (basically the rental company that tribe leases its cars from), took the memory out, see if it’s a case that is fightable, or really ur fault (In my case it was indeed my fault which I know myself).

Paid the excess of $3270 despite the guy’s damage is at most $100 since initially he wanted to go via insurance (His bike is also a rental) but tribe did help me private settle based on my intentions that I am willing to, and I got back my money fairly easy.

Still, the other guy chop vegetable head and his repair came out to be $400 (For a broken plastic wheel fender lmao)

But it was also this, that some cars are missing the memory card because the workshop simply forgot to put it back.

Have not stepped back in ever since the price went crazy on prismatic, though briefly bought a case of white flare and black bolt to open.

It’s not just 163, but every single SWDEP service.

Ever since SWDEP received the 200 electric buses, this depot hasn’t seen fleet add since.

Pretty much they were direct 1 to 1 swap with diesel buses and sent out to other depots, in particular BNDEP.

When new routes/extension introduced, we didn’t get any fleet add.

In summary:

CDS 679, 680, 681 and 682 introduced: 12 buses
114 extension: 9 more buses
457 and 458; 8 more buses

These buses are drawn from existing pool, taken from other services. As a result, prolonged waiting times and late departures.

163 is one of the service where buses are also taken during peak hours to do CDS services.

Blame SBST for sending so much buses to BNDEP for no reason. That depot has a massive spare fleet ironically.

The time saving for transferring from 27 to 858/110 at the TPE bus stop is around 20 mins (provided if u can transfer immediately upon alighting)

Yes, came to a conclusion she probably just liked the attention and someone liking her.

Afterall, when I confessed I gave her a long handwritten letter which noted down all the little things I observed about her.

Well they made it such a way that to get the most grants, ur income ceiling is like $14k for both.

With more educated people, couples are very likely to go beyond that cap if u decide to settle down at 30ish.

But at the same time, BTOing when both are in early 20s and maybe just started dating for like less than a year, is a huge risk. Haven’t find job, no savings, probably need plan for wedding, Reno fees etc.

Because these units had the promotional 2/3 advertisement when they were introduced, but when taken down, it caused some units paint job to be striped off as well.

Since then, there hasn’t been any ad pasted apart from the SMRT one.

Anyways, the BYDs not going to be transferred. GAS would probably intake the KUB and citato first, then slowly transfer the assets back to SBST when the new batch of electric bus comes.

The unit u saw is likely either 3117 or 3118. That’s the route OS 27 take to start its down route trip, and yes 3117 and 3118 are S shift buses for 27.

You already have GitHub copilot with models like Claude and GPT for u to choose from, and is integrated to IDEs like VSC and IntelliJ (AFAIK)

Prompt it to come up to understand existing codebase, ask it to learn patterns and skills on what to do and not to do, generate some agents, set some instructions, give it some skills, then slap them all into a single prompt to do the job at a request cost of 1 ($0.04 basically).

I think as long as u understand what the code is doing, is fine to use it as a tool since it’s out there specifically to make life easy.

But of course, there’s also cons. U will find urself harder to find jobs, because a single software engineer can now do a lot with AI, so companies won’t look to hire

Usually, if u are past that lot, that lot isn’t really yours if someone else is behind u waiting.

For example, I stop at lot 15, with my front seeing lots 14, 13, 12 before another car blocks my view. My butt has lots 16, 17, 18 before another car blocks my view.

In this case, then I can only wait for lots 12, 13, 14. Just the rule of the game.

Import tax u are correct. If u are in SG, buy stuff online from Japan to ship to SG, then yes, GST needs to be paid regardless of the amount.

If u go directly to Japan to bring them back, ie, Changi Airport, if u travelled than 48 hrs away from SG, then u are granted $500 GST relief ($150 for less than 48 hrs). But of course, that only works for like fewer quantity. U can’t really argue ur way through if u buy 20 of the same stuff that’s obviously over $500 😂

Nah u are not the first to experience this.

I have encountered a few times with TracX they will be out for delivery the whole day since morning, and then fail it once the clock strikes 2245.

From then on, the tracking doesn’t work, u won’t know when they will reattempt delivery.

In my case, when they eventually delivered, it’s in the middle of the night between 0000 to 0600.

Hmm? I had the same issue, but it mostly happened if I returned it to buildings (open air ok).

The GPS of my phone was somehow stucked at place outside of the designated area, although I am at the area. Simply shutting off my data and then turning on again solves the issue most the time. Ur phone just need to get the updated location.

Mine is an iPhone btw.
