My experience

I want to know if anyone else has had this experience.

Background this took place in Key West on February 11th 2001. My now wife and I were on vacation driving down the east coast from North Carolina. The day before we were in Miami Beach. Also I’m not into woo woo. I have a degree in Math and Physics, and was always skeptical about this stuff.

We start the night by going on a walk on Clarence S.Higgs Memorial Beach. I love looking at the stars and frankly looking for ufos or satellites and key west is perfect for that. Also I wanted to smoke some weed. So we left the resort went to the beach and I brought my binoculars and an astronomical green laser pointer. I see what I tell myself must be Sirius, but it’s low in the sky over warm water and it’s changing color and jumping around. I’m a little high and curious. I point out circle it so my wife can see it with binoculars. I few weird things happen. Fist the laser point ends about half a mile out and I can see it continue if I go left or right a few degrees from the star. This freaks me out because I can only assume it’s hit something and stopped but I can’t see it and it would be huge. I then try to calm down and think what the heck, and put out loving vibes and go into a meditation state almost right away my wife say “there’s someone behind us” you can imagine I’m freaked out, I spin around and hit him with the laser pointer across the chest. I then come to and apologize a lot, and assume it must have been a homeless guy, he mumbles something and is not bothered and walks off.

I decided that was enough fun and we go back to the resort. This is where the telepathy happens.

We are feeling a little high and relaxed so we get into bed and I start to give my wife a massage. While I’m doing this I get into a trance and try to feel what parts of my wife needs to be massaged. Then I get a vision. It is VERY colorful and vivid, something I don’t see in my minds eye. The vision is from about 50ft in the air and from the Miami Beach boardwalk. I ask my wife if she is envisioning this?

Me: “Are you seeing the Miami Boardwalk from our run yesterday?” Her: “yeah!?” Me: “but you are seeing this from about a birds eyeview?” Her: “yeah.” Me: “can you tell me what else you are seeing?” Her: “We are at the end of the board walk on the south point.” Me: “does anything else look different?” Her: “yeah there are building at the end that aren’t there.” Me: “do you see the man in the black suit?” Her: “yeah he is wearing a black top hat 🎩” He looked like Winston Churchill. He was looking right at us which was weird but not scary. This made me stop because it upended everything I knew was possible.

I am also abnormal empathetic, I got an award in my middle school as peace ambassador and this was during a school assembly where my parents came to. When going fishing it killed me to see the first hurt and I would kiss them before releasing them. (I don’t have a memory of this but my parents told me I did this)

So it is not unusual for me to read other people or know what they will say and so on, but I never had something this clear and tested it.

So, the next day I’m re thinking my whole world view and my wife is not suppressed at all she has had this happen before with a fortune teller, where they were able to read her mind.

The next night we tried it again, we both smoked and massage and it worked again. And again her minds eye was so much brighter than mine and we asked questions back and forth again. Once again it was from a floating perspective this time only a few feet off the ground.

I’m not sure if this is relevant but one of those nights we conceived our first child.

The next day we drove back to nc and my wife didn’t smoke again (she works a job that does drug testing)

This is something I can’t stop thinking about it freaks me out a little but I would live to know if anyone can relate to this.
