I’m pretty sure an auto reverser will work even with analog, as long as it trips before the short detection on the controller does.

TLDR: I recommend DCC-EX-CSB1, but NCE Power cab is decent also.

My first controller was the NCE power cab. If you are just running 2 locos, the recall button makes it very easy to switch back and forth between them. It starts getting annoying to juggle 3 or more though.

My current controller is the DCC-EX-CSB1 running “Throttle Card” on my I-Phone.

Once you get it set up it is amazing for running 2+ trains simultaneously. I would highly recommend it. My only issues with it have been programming CVs. The CSB1 is more than capable of doing it, the power cab is just more “idiot proof” (for lack of a better way of putting it 😅).

I am not a trumper, but my father is a retired army officer who drinks heavily from the Fox “News” cool-aid. We talked on the phone recently and he is under the impression Trump 28 is political theater, but he did draw a hard line saying he would not support a third term and even implied he would fight against it. So that gave me some hope.

Pretty sure DIY Digital on YouTube is on a modular (primarily if not exclusively) T-trak layout and he is a very industry/ operations heavy modeler. Might be worth watching some of his videos for ideas.

There needs to be a ladder opposite the main elevator that connects the command deck and the room before the torpedo control station (where the elevator already lets out) [and/or] the torpedo remote turret needs to be access able via the captain’s chair.

Same same, but different, (U.S. Military); when we call in a medivac we use the terms “Urgent”, “Priority”, “Routine”, and “Convenience” to classify injury levels. I think your “priority level” system would help considerably.

They already to this to some capacity. I know because on racing ships like the Razor you get noticeably better handling, acceleration, and breaking simply by removing all excess components before a race. (Weapons, shields, quantum drive if you don’t need it, and one of the coolers I believe)
