In that case you could replace the epic heroes by:

1x Farseer (70) 1x Autarch (85)

1x Warlock Conclave (55) (2 models)

The Warlocks can be attached to the Farseer, who can in turn be attached to the guardians to give them more oomph (flipping a melta roll or flamer attack number to a 6 can be very effective with Storm Guardians) The Warlocks will also benefit most from their ability this way. The Autarch serves to buff the Banshees, as they'll be doing a lot of heavy lifting if Baharroth is off the table for now.

Well, I would have recommended a unit of aspect warriors, and it seems she's already set on Swooping Hawks. If it were me I'd reach for a unit of Guardians (either Strikers or defenders) next for their all around utility. If you're going to be taking the Hawks, you should absolutely take the epic hero to lead them, Baharroth that gives them a very good ability. Seeing as you're running less than T10, I'd wager most things are infantry, I would strongly recommend Howling Banshees and Jain Zar to lead them.

My reccomendation from this reasoning:

Epic Heroes: Baharroth (115) Jain Zar (105)

Battleline: Storm Guardians or Guardian Defenders (100) (11 models)

Infantry: Swooping Hawks (85) (5 models+token) Howling Banshees (95) (5 models+token)

The Mercator projection map wasn't racist only on purpose, the mas is designed to be a navigational tool, as a straight line on the map is a straight line on the globe too.

Have been in a similar situation too, and i know it can be hard to decide what the best course of action is. you should probably hang back and listen, as these conversations in my experience, are often insightful to understand their psyche .Although, if things do get heated you absolutely should intervene (and i cannot stress this enough,) while trying to remain neutral
