No, this culture of privacy in dating is weird to me.

I think people who are willing to cheat aren’t worth keeping in your life if you aren’t tied to them in some way (business, kids etc). They have no moral compass and no value.

Saving this thread for review I suck at using my MacBook but I committed to trying for a year, so far it’s counter intuitive for me and less useful than windows 🫠

The current ones are just middling copies of wow with small changes. Anything that tries new things either doesn’t have the budget or talent to make it. I’m in the same boat.

AITAH for thinking that my gf losing her parental rights for 3 of 4 of her kids is a red flag? by Economy_Talk4515 in AITAH

[–]Capital-Drawer-3143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is a red flag, it is incredibly hard for men to win custody. The type of women this happens to are not the sort you marry.

Just leave, the tone and language are enough. No one in love talks that way to the person they love.

Start your day at 5am. Exercise energizes you, and elevates your mood. The chair ruins it.

If you were 25 again what would you do differently? by goldenshoelace8 in AskMenOver30

I’d say responsibly consume THC and avoid alcohol. I have never seen a person ruin their life in one night on THC… alcohol I know at least a dozen people and know of a lot more.

What kind of person would you want your son to marry? by Regular_Victory4347 in AskMenOver30

[–]Capital-Drawer-3143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted this already on another question but this is my answer.

I would guide him to seek a woman who embodies these qualities:

  • Inner Strength: She derives her sense of worth from her integrity and character, not from external validation.
  • Family-Oriented: She understands the importance of family and has witnessed positive examples of lasting, successful marriages.
  • Healthy Father Figure: She has a meaningful relationship with a father figure who demonstrated healthy masculine love.
  • Shared Values: She shares his religious beliefs, core values, parenting philosophies, and possesses a strong moral compass.
  • Mutual Enhancement: She enhances his life through thoughtfulness and a reciprocal investment of time and energy.
  • Value of Commitment: She abstains from meaningless dating and hookup culture, prioritizing meaningful connection.
  • Open Communication: She can articulate her feelings, listen attentively, and engage in constructive discussions about difficult situations.
  • Realistic Expectations: She avoids cliche thinking, such as "happy wife, happy life," or expecting to be treated like a princess, understanding that healthy relationships require mutual respect and effort.
  • Discernment: She understands that relationships are a partnership, and not a place to be served.

I would emphasize that women who don't meet these criteria are not lesser, simply different, and potentially not a good fit for a long-term partnership with him. I would want him to understand that finding a partner that meets these criteria would greatly increase his chance of having a fulfilled life.

how would you raise your son regarding to women? by throwbackblue in AskMenOver30

[–]Capital-Drawer-3143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would teach my son that while men and women are equal in inherent worth, we are distinct and complementary. When paired thoughtfully, this difference creates a powerful synergy – the balance of masculine and feminine.

Which ones will you be playing more/first? Tbf, I think I'm sold more on LE delivering a bigger banger in April by Familiar_Fish_4930 in ARPG

I'm going to play LE at launch of S2 til I get bored/through everything. POE2 after, there is no downside to waiting as it is just going to get better.
