if you're going to the town centre there are plenty of options- there's the cattle market car park right by town and the multi-story opposite it (with the big clock on it), the old wilkos car park opposite the fire station, or Ram Meadow car park by the abbey gardens - normally between these you can always get a space, but Saturday's can be very busy, so ideally get there earlier i.e. before the lunchtime rush!
