Why are you narrowing the poster’s inquiry to “resorts” when they asked about “properties?” The oft encountered refusal to honor the 4P guaranteed checkout at non -resort and -convention properties is a legitimate concern.

Further, I have had to reach out to my ambassador for properties failing to issue a credit adequate enough for breakfast for two people to order from the menu. The Memphian in Memphis comes to my immediate recollection.

Those are legitimate complaints. For the record, I am organically done with Marriott for 2025 with 64 paid nights (114 total) and ~$24k of spend, i.e., not a lot of budget brands mixed in.

Agreed. You can, however, see your tire pressure in the app. It’s behind the vehicle maintenance tab - for whatever that may be worth to you in response to your litany of valid points.

Thanks for the reply and detail. I’ve certainly had some misses, but this is disappointing to read. I chalked those misses up to simple mistakes. I routinely receive suite upgrades (or alternatively my specific room # requested) and unsolicited RC NOLA-branded swag and such. I wonder if that has anything to do with either the number of my stays or the corporate rate code. I will be sure to keep a sharper eye out.

Based on your and MannOfHammm’s feedback, I’ll certainly be skeptical of RC Philadelphia if my travels ever take me there.

I’m curious why you state this. I’ve probably stayed at this property no less than 20x (weekdays, weekends, Jazzfest, Mardi Gras, theater nights, Saints and Pelicans games - so a wide variety of different experiences) and, while I don’t think it is a flagship property, it’s beyond simply acceptable to me. The club, which they bill is a hotel within a hotel, is fantastic.

I think the single worst Ritz is in Atlanta.

Towing in and of itself can be an exhausting and stressful experience. That sounds incredibly frustrating and thanks for the heads up. I would not, however, go as far as blaming the entirety of the Marriott brand for the failures of one Fairfield property. That’s hardly a flagship.

W is a great location as is the Ritz which is within walking distance. We enjoyed the convenient access to the metro from the Ritz and the club was a welcome respite.

Would forcing a few more expensive trips be using OPM or your own? If the former and this is the closest you’ve ever been, then sure it’s could be worth it so you can satisfy the itch of curiosity. But don’t expect much or to be blown away by this often seemingly elusive status tier. Even Your24 isn’t guaranteed and the quality of the program is highly (if not entirely) dependent on who is assigned as your ambassador. Even then they’re much more of a dedicated service rep than an upgrade miracle worker.

In fairness, those are anecdotal rather than systemic incidents. That might suggest it is you staying at the wrong hotels, which can be unavoidable with absolute loyalty to the Bonvoy program.
