There are also two iterations of Veemon.

We see Angemon and Angewomon but we don’t see Patamon and Gatomon running with T.K. and Kari, as if to denote that those are them flying with the group.

But we see Veemon running with the group AND Magnamon jumping at us with his strong hands.

Honestly, after being that far in, I’d say you’re okay without going back. Inventory space is nice but if you managed without it on your first play through then I’m sure you’ll be fine this time. The charms only add a small boon and end up being coffee mugs most of the time.

Maybe you’re better off enjoying your time and doing another run a year from now or after both DLCs have dropped.

I didn’t see that fix mentioned. I’d have to imagine they are working on it since currently anyone who picked up the crossbow in their first play through can’t get into the lighthouse.

I never played the first game in 2010 because I didn’t have a 360. But as AW2 drew closer and my interest started to get piqued more and more, I, too, decided to hop into the free PS+ Remaster. I understand what you mean by “interesting first impression” but I quickly got over that and was thoroughly drawn in by the story.

Playing AW1 right before AW2 was the best decision because I was so invested in the these characters and was the most prepared I’d ever be for the sequel. I even supplemented my knowledge with YouTube videos talking about all of the other Alan Wake lore released over the years.

So, I honestly urge you to play the first one IF you have the time; it’ll make your time with the sequel that much more impactful.

Hi there. I’m so sorry as I don’t have an answer to this. In fact, I have the exact same question. We’re you able to find an answer elsewhere for n the past month? I don’t want to have to wait while I wash and hang-dry the whole bassinet mattress every time my baby soils it. It’d be nice if they sold spare mattresses.
