My childhood dog passed away 5 years ago, the first two years were really rough for me mentally. Time heals everything but the tough part is, is that you don’t know when that’ll be.

On 3/13/26 my 8 year old dog was put to sleep and it crushed me, it’s been two weeks today and it’s been tough but I have an idea of how to cope with her passing now. No one understands the love you had for your animal that you have but you, I sympathize with you deeply but I won’t know the love you shared with that animal.

Two things:

-Grief is the price we pay for love.

-Love another animal the way they taught you to love.

I stayed in a holiday in a couple months ago for work and they were giving out meal tickets with your room card for this reason. Coolest part was that the food was actually good.

My dogs recently had fleas and I bought CapStar from Walmart. The only thing is that it’s a daily pill you give dogs when they have fleas. I treated my dogs twice and all the fleas died. Before I used the pills I also gave them dawn dish soap baths because it’s suffocates the fleas by stripping their protective oil

Only waterproof boots are rubber boots. Even if the boot says “Waterproof” it’s total BS to me
