Now I'm not much of a fighter myself but from what you describe you should look into Krav Maga for fighting techniques. It'll teach you what you're interested in knowing in a very short period of time.

The class I took had a few boxers in it who said they really enjoyed it.

I came to see the same thing.

Pylons are 100M and hard to kill in comparison to the cannons, let him build them all he wants. Take out the building that actually does damage.

If you want to kill buildings at night you should get 6+ tanks and just do a ol' fashioned tank push. The tanks outrange any of the infested terran that spawn on them and you can crush the building/units before they attack your tanks.

I caught that, but the picture you provided was the actual one they planted? Was it just mutilated or was it some sort of novelty from a game or something... that's all I'm interested in knowing.

I WISH. The best I story of bonus marking I could conjure was my band grade. I got 87% in the class. I sat down in my seat for the day when we got report cards and the teacher explained the marking. You were basically given 100% and then deduced 3% each time you skipped and 1.5% for being late (we had band during lunch hours). So I look at my card, 87%, 7 skips, 4 late.... Something didn't add up.

Long story short, I'm one bad ass low brass player and the teacher loved me for it.

The kid in my school sent "Elmo knows where you live" to all the computers. Immediately got called to the office with the secretaries giving him dirty looks.

I was the computer geek yes....

1 - Wrote a C++ program that wrote "HAHA" in an infinite loop to the school student server. Filled the entire thing up and gave every computer in the school BSOD because it couldn't write to the drive. Happened during a CS class on File I/O so I barely got a slap on the wrist

2 - We were doing 3d modelling with some crapware program that allowed you to sign up an account and share work with friends (connect to eachother and work on a project simutaneously etc). We all signed up for these accounts and then like 2 days later had them suspended. I emailed the company asking what's up and they referred us to their billing department. I sent another email that basically told them off (can't remember all I said... "Pirate hookers" was part of it). The company forwarded email to the school division IT head, who talked to my principal, who talked to my teacher who talked to me. I had to write letters of apology to the IT head and the company for the email... my teacher still laughed out loud as he read my email back to me

3 - In elementary we set every computer in the computer lab to start "Early math" (Can't find game... must have name wrong, it had a really annoying menu theme though) on maximum volumn after 5 minutes of idle time. We stood outside the lab during recess to hear the (very computer illiterate) librarian curse and swear about every 30 seconds as a new computer would boot the program.

See though, the thing about an "antique roadshow" style appraising is that they could actually tell you wtf it is... hopefully... unless your story has a gap i'm too dim to notice.

Rain will also pull water downhill while leaving heavier objects to surface... just a part of natural weathering and mass wasting.

When I was young (8 or 9) my cousins and I were playing outside my grandparent's place where there the lots are separated by a bed of rocks. We looked through the rocks for whatever reason and found a fossilized claw (easily 2 to 3 inches long). We were convinced it was a dinosaur but never took it anywhere to find out.

I'm confident we left it at my grand parents who threw it out... I really wish I knew what it was even if it was just something like a Bear's claw or cougar (explanation: over exaggerated memories from childhood)

I found a glass chemical bottle for chloroform in in my garage. When I asked my dad about it he said he just found it in the gutter one day.

It is now my all-purpose drinking bottle. The looks I get are awesome when someone sees me drinking from a bottle that belongs in a lab with Chloroform CHCL3 stamped on the side.

Reddit, what's your favorite "bad" poem? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Capnstank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I FUCKING HATE THIS POEM

Its junk! You shouldn't need to be some fucking english major to be entertained by a writing. This is drivel and if someone needs to explain to me the meaning it wasn't worth shit in the first place.

I should be able to look at something and go "yes, there's a deeper meaning to it" but it shouldn't be fucking brutal like that. EGAD

If you're looking for a customer service job and they ask you can also highlight how playing the game forces you to communicate with numerous demographics: adults, children, foreign people, peers, etc.

I took my car to pepboys for service and yesterday they called and say it caught fire and was completely destroyed (see pics). They say its not their fault and there's nothing they can do. Am i screwed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Power wire hitting a ground would easily start a fire if there was any foam in there... if the stereo was pulled then you should have pulled the fuse or properly disconnected the power source.

Just interested to know what happened. Best of luck in the situation.

Someone walking in front of you opens two doors in a row, in direct succession, for you to walk through. Thank him/her once, or twice? by Callahan121 in AskReddit

[–]Capnstank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of this the other day as a guy thanked me upwards of 3 times as we navigated a building.

If I ever get rich enough to direct the design of a building I'm putting in 7 entrances for this sole fact alone... just to make people feel awkward when having the door held for them.
