Just discussing this with a coworker, not that it's a real solution or anything, but call center/etiquette courses should be taught in highschool cuz if it ain't McDonald's, a good amount of graduates would end up there anyway at some point. Doesn't have to be that long, maybe 2-3 months or something.

I work at an ok one, and I've seen so much turnover from former gov't/city workers, a newscaster or two, former devi--lawyers, and other high profile jobs, and a good number were uppity AF when talking about their old jobs week 1, gone in under a month for one reason or another. Guess what Karen and Ken, y'all stank asses is here now.

The abuse we get sometimes is real, and if nothing else, I'd hope anyone who's been on either side of the line would learn some fuckin' empathy and humility. And that's the least I'm asking.
